Lacking iPad UI
Good but not easy to use on iPad it needs a full screen UX especially for the premium price.

I like the app! And its very good value with the student discount. One thing I would like is the ability to still add websites/apps to block while a session is active with strict mode
I like it! One suggestion would be if it’s possible, with the “Good apps first” condition, if there could be a setting to make it so it’s like spend x amount of time on (the good app) = (the bad app) is unblocked for an amount of time you can choose, and after you go over that limit you need to use the good app for that set amount of time to unblock the bad app again (instead of it being unlocked for the rest of the day). But overall good app!
Seriously very thankful for the comprehensive app in helping me get my time back. JOMO has helped me to reconnect with family and friends as I’m not attached to phone like I used to be. Thanks JOMO
After trying maybe 10 or so other screentime limiters, this one is by far the best. Design: • Extremely accessible and user friendly interface. • Colours, fonts, customisations are all simplistic but pleasing to the eyes Functions: • The ability to limit apps and websites in certain timeframes removes the necessity of having the self control to wake up and make the conscious decision to limit your apps that day. • ‘Strict-mode’ can be enabled to prevent you from changing app and website bans when you lack self-control • ‘Breaks’ can be enabled and provide the ability to temporarily pause the rules you’ve set (but not change them) for a period of time (My favourite functions but there’s heaps more) Active developers: • I’ve made a few recommendations/comments on certain bugs/design issues to the devs and they immediately fixed them. Price: So much more affordable in comparison to other apps. Especially with a student discount, it came to about $20 AUD for a year? That’s an extremely reasonable price to pay for having a year of productivity imo. I never leave reviews for anything but this app has improved my life so much, had to show some support. Hope the devs are not discouraged by the fact that Jomo hasn’t exploded yet. I have hope it will and even if it doesn’t, just know there’s at least me using it exactly how it was intended T_T
Promises cross device account, but then tries to extort a licens payment out of you for each device. Worse still is that Apple is supporting this nefarious behaviour by not approving a refund when I used the app for less than 1 hour. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED - STEER CLEAR!!!!
I tried a few competing apps before reaching Jomo. They all have different features and lay things out a little differently but Jomo was probably the easiest, lowest friction setup of them all. Due to my work and studies, I unfortunately need access to my phone constantly, which always leads to me getting distracted and losing time in social media or other unproductive apps. Jomo has seriously improved how I use my phone. I have it blocking apps for several hours automatically in the morning and starting an hour before bed, and it has honestly made my days and sleep so much better. I find myself being less impulsive and much more focused, and the friction Jomo introduces into opening social media is enough for me to think twice about pausing the session. On top of all this, I like that I can rate how I feel about my use of the other apps. It gives me the opportunity to consider whether I made the most of the time I used my phone and it's helping me work towards a better me. I highly recommend Jomo - it's absolutely worth the money when you consider how much time you will lose in your life without it, feeling like you have the time to spend hours a day browsing nonsense online when you could be doing so much better.
This is a good app to manage your screen time, but unless you pay for premium you can't make more than one scheduled block time. You also can't leave early, which means no screen time on sick days.
Saw a post about this app by the owner decided to download it a have a shot works like a charm can’t ask for more time like other apps also let’s you have the entire week for without paying unlike most other apps
Once set up. I have now been able to be very conscious of how much time and what apps I’m using. Great for using in conjunction with profiles. When I land at home it automatically switches my work apps to unavailable. Love this app.
