Journalling suggestions make it easy to remember your daily experiences — so you can add them to your journal and never have to start with a blank page. Organise your entries by creating multiple journals for different aspects of your life, keep track of your journalling goals with insights and streaks, and sync your journal between iPhone, iPad and Mac using iCloud.

Get started writing with journalling suggestions
• Choose from suggested moments to start your journal entry with intelligently grouped outings, photos, workouts, media and more. 
• Get a writing prompt to guide your insights.
• Find inspiration with reflection prompts to focus on gratitude, kindness, purpose and more.
• Journalling suggestions are created using on-device intelligence based on how you use your iPhone. Choose what information you want to enable for suggestions. 
• Suggestions created on your iPhone sync securely to iPad.

Preserve powerful memories in rich detail
• Illustrate your entries with the photos, videos and places that tell your story. Customise the layout by placing attachments seamlessly within the text you write. 
• Get creative and express yourself with lettering, sketches and doodles using your finger, or Apple Pencil on iPad. And you can make your journal even more personal with entries in your own handwriting.
• Record your voice directly into your journal and have it transcribed automatically or record your surroundings to add context to your entry. 
• Express yourself with text formatting options, including lists, quotes and various text styles.
• Add a widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen that shows your current streak at a glance or presents writing prompts that change throughout the day so you can reflect on what’s going on in the moment.
• Start a new entry and add content from other apps like News, Music or Safari.
• Keep your entries organised by creating multiple journals for different aspects of your life, and add a custom name and icon for each.

• Easily find past entries using the calendar.
• See entries written at a specific location or find entries you made nearby in the new Places view.

• View your journalling streaks, the days you journalled and other fun stats in the new Insights view.
• Set a schedule or receive notifications at convenient times based on how you use the app. You’ll get reminders when it’s time to write, or when new journalling suggestions are ready, so you can keep a consistent journalling practice

Journal for wellbeing
• Log your state of mind in Journal and save it to the Health app.
• Automatically save your writing time as Mindful Minutes in Health.

Keep your journal private and secure
• Protect your journal with your device passcode, Touch ID or Face ID, so no one but you can access it.
• Store your entries safely in iCloud so they’re automatically backed up.

I’ve started taking up journaling in order to more or less clear my head. It’s way better than meditation I feel because you’re not stuck in your head doing it. Quite the opposite. My biggest gripe is the lack of Mac and iPad versions. At least give us a web version so we can edit on a bigger screen. Typing on a cell keyboard is pretty pokey, which is why I use a BT keyboard, but that’s something extra I have to carry around. I’d give this app 5 stars if it had a desktop version.

Nice idea and app. 
The vest on that app is to use it for travel. 👍
Well I am missing some bits and pieces: 
(1) I like to have an export to PDF where I can choose the period I like to export. 
(2) I like to have the photos embedded in the text or a count or number to each photo so I can refer to in my text. 
(3) Having a template option of filling out a kind of form would be appreciated as it could speed up some text entering. 
(4) Get location link in the text would make it easier in the future to find that location in maps. 

I hope I could benefit on more features in the future like the above mention ones. 😉👍

This app made me more organized. It substituted some of my notes in my messy Note App folder, It also decreased the amount of photos I had to keep in my Photos App and audio records. (I normally take photos to show my future self what was the day like for me, and write about my day separately on my journal notebook 📔 )

 It organizes your journal automatically by date. 
It folds the  long texts and makes it available when you tap it. 
It can make you record your day with various ways: picture, audio recording, text, mood and more. It’s so much vivid then just plain pictures or written words! And they’re all together so you don’t need to quit and visit different application to puzzle out what was the day like.
It’s one of the best upgrade features in my opinion😜😜
