Jussi - Vocal Synthesizer

Veröffentlicht von: Klevgränd produkter

Beschreibung

This synthesizer emulates male voice vowels in a unique way. Thanks to a set of powerful parameters you can make Jussi sing anything from soft and airy choir-like vowels to hard and angry shouting.
Formants are controlled by playing with different velocity, which makes it fun and easy to play using a MIDI keyboard.
Features:
• AUv3, works with AUv3 compatible hosts like Garageband, Cubasis, AUM etc.
• ADSR with ”Turn-in” and ”Turn-out” option (Turn-in and Turn-out affects the pitch and maps it to attack and release)
• Voice character XY pad (Intensity and Narrowness)
• Legato mode (glides between notes and velocity levels)
• Legato Hold mode (polyphonic legato when using a sustain controller, consult the documentation for more info)
• Throat emulation XY pad (Grain and Tonality)
• Built-in reverb
iPhone 6 or later is recommended.
iPad 4 or later is recommended.

Sounds great but doesn’t work with my ewi. Can you guys make this work as well as PIPA does? I actually purchased this synth because Pipa was so fantastic. Please fix

so i wasn’t looking for this. it was basically a waste of my $7. but it’s still good to annoy my friends with high pitched drill-like noises!

Does not work at all in GarageBand...in any configuration whatsoever. Thanks a lot, Sweden. I am unemployed so $7 wasted is a lot of money for me. So disappointing.

Does what it does

This is a vocal synth. It produces a synthesized voice. There are a few variables to control but this is not subtractive, modular, granular or FM synthesis. It’s a voice w/ some parameters to adjust but it’s still the same voice. There’s not a way to control the vowels that the voice sings. In fact, it makes a sound that is like all vowels combined or perhaps, absent of any vowel sounds at all. It’s like a voice singing trying to sing “aahhhhhh” but it sounds more like “uyghhhhhhh”. You can get a lot of weird sounds from it. It definitely sounds like a voice. It’s klevgrand so it’s good. I think it’s great. I read the reviews first. I got exactly what I was expecting and hope this helps someone else to expect exactly what they’re getting.

Look up a video so you know what you are buying. I got what I wanted cause they don’t have other voice synth apps like this. Wish they had more voices though or more voice apps. Wish it was cheaper

If you're looking for an app to sing on your recordings, forget this app. It has one voice and one sound, regardless the handful of settings.

No!!

I cant believe I paid $4.99 for this. (With the claim/sales pitch that it was "on sale 37.5% off for a limited time") If I'd paid $0.99, I'd feel more comfortable about paying anything at all to have this gimmicky male voice generator to play around with, albeit it an Neanderthal man's voice "moaning and groaning" generator. It's a good app idea that sadly feels like it hasn't been finished, and not seen through to the final product. No midi support, so the velocity sensitive iPad screen, to get different sounding vowels as you tap the virtual keyboard keys, is pretty lack luster, and random...sometimes not changing at all. MIDI support would be a huge difference! If you do get an interesting sound out of it, that you could possibly use in a musical composition, which I admit, I have created an interesting sound that I liked...it falls short, once again, as there is no function to save that "interesting sound" as a user preset, to call up again to use later in a recording of your composition. After continuing to mess around, changing the parameters, to get a different sound....results in losing the exact setting for the tone/sound you liked. Good luck getting the exact configuration on the given parameters, as the UI is lacking in any exact measurement, for recreation...it may get close to it...but, not exactly. Bottom line...I was excited about this app, and what I could do with it, musically, in my music compositions. I thought i was getting more for my money. I could have walked out into the street, and asked any random guy passing by to give me his best caveman impersonation, recorded it with my iPad, and I'd be $4.99 richer than what I am now! Well done, the people that created, and sold me this app. You've got my money, and now you've got my review. The sounds I'm making now, kicking my own butt...I need to sample that! "OoooohAhhhhhhHmmmmm"...sounds familiar!
