## KaiserTone Audio Player +HiRes Description
Feel the power of music.

KaiserTone contains the "Amazing Quality Sound Engine AQS-XI”. This high-speed sound engine makes use of over 64000 frequency bands to deliver the very highest quality audio. Sound Engine AQS-XI provides an equalizer, virtual surround, cross fader, gapless playback, silence detection, noise reduction, and a dynamic limiter, to allow you to listen to your favorite music at your preferred sound quality.

KaiserTone plays music files stored on the iTunes library and in the high-resolution music database (HiRes DB).

Supports High-resolution sources:
1) playback of high-res sources up to 768kHz/32bits
2) PCM and DoP (DSD over PCM) playback of high-res DSD files up to 12MHz/1bit. 

Supported audio format:
- iPod Library(iTunes): audio format used by Music App of Apple
- Hires DB: DSD(2.8MHz~12MHz/1bit, .dsf, .dff), FLAC(8k~384kHz/8~32bit), WAV(8k~768kHz/8~64bit), Apple Lossless(8k~384kHz), AIFF(8k~768kHz/8~32bit), AAC(8~320 Kbps), MP3(8~320 Kbps), MP4(as Sound), M4V(as Sound)
* In iPod Library, Music app exclusive data (Apple Music, DRM, iCloud) can be cooperative played back with the restriction function by Music app.

### ****- "EQ Function need to be fixed"
My major player since years. Since the last update to version 3.7.7 under IOS 26.1
there might be a bug in the EQ function.
When active and adjusting frequencies, the player creates a permanent clicking in the sound. With the EQ disabled the sound is clear. Fix with the next update is highly appreciated.

Seit dem Upgrade auf 3.7.5 sind die Höhen total übersteuert. Leider damit eine weitere Musik-App, die nach ehrgeizigen Upgrades nicht mehr brauchbar ist.

Da ich eine Menge Musik in 24bit habe und das die hauseigene App vom iPhone das nicht ausreizen kann, habe ich so einige Apps getestet. Diese hier hat mich am meisten angesprochen. Sie hat viele Einstelloptionen, vom Anfänger zum Profi. 4,99€ wären voll angemessen und einen Stern Abzug, Leider ist nur eine englische Version verfügbar ist.

Ich nutze die App für hochauflösende Audio-Dateien mit einem sehr (!) hochwertigen Kopfhörer und einem angeschlossenen DAC. Ich bin immer wieder beeindruckt, was für eine Qualität man mit den richtigen "Zutaten" aus dem iPhone herausholen kann. Die App ist dabei natürlich zentral. 
Der Preis ist völlig angemessen – Qualität hat ihren Preis. Wer das nicht lernt, braucht sich nicht zu wundern, wenn es irgendwann mal nur noch Schrott gibt.

### ***-- "Musikqualität super, Einsatzgebiet begrenzt"
Der Player als solches hätte eigentlich 5* verdient. Musikqualität, Einstelloptionen, Bedienbarkeit und GUI sind Top.
Leider beschränkt sich die Musikbibliothek auf die lokal auf dem iPhone oder iPad abgespeicherten Files. Wem das genügt, der ist mit diesem Player hier bestens bedient.
Aber es gibt keine Cloud-Anbindung und keine Anbindung an eigene Mediaserver per Smb. Sehr sehr schade, denn dann wäre der Player perfekt. Ich hoffe mal auf ein Update. 
Ich habe meine gesamte Musiksammlung auf einem Mediaserver und möchte nicht ständig Musik auf die einzelnen Geräte kopieren, das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß.
Also nehme ich meist Alternativen wie Evermusic oder Flacbox, welche diesen Cloud-Service bieten.

Also ich habe so gut wie jeden HiRes Player durch, dieser ist meiner Meinung Perfekt. Das einzige was ich mir wünsche ist, das Grid View wieder zur Verfügung steht. Auf dem iPad unter Einstellungen - Design kann ich es nicht finden, leider. Ansonsten Top!

Ohne die Equalizer Einstellung von KaiserTone könnte ich viele sehr gemäßigte HipHop Lieder wie von Ciara über Stereo HomePods nicht anhören. Die Bässe überdröhnen alles und sind nicht sauber. Apple müsste endlich von ihrem hohen Ross runter und einen Equalizer für die HomePods zulassen.

Der Player ist super, funktioniert einwandfrei auf dem IPad. Was ich mir wünsche, wäre eine digitale Pegelanzeige, als Peak Meter in alter Analoger Manier.

Getestet mit Iphone 7, KHV: OPPO HA-2 und Chord Mojo. Kopfhörer: Sennheiser IE800 und Audeze LCD-XC. Soundfiles in DSD 256 11.2896Mbit/s, DSD 128 5.6448Mbit/s, DSD 64 2.8224Mbit/s. Soundfiles in Flac 24BIT/352.8kHz, 24BIT/192kHz, 24BIT/96kHz, 16BIT/44kHz.

Alle oben benannte Sound Files werden abgespielt, ohne KHV wird ein upscale auf 48kHz durchgeführt (Restriktion des Iphone). 
Mit KHV werden Sound Files bis 32BIT/384kHz unterstützt. 

Der Sound ist klasklar und bring das Signal unverfälscht zu den Kopfhörer.

The sound quality is simply amazing! Overall the Kaisertone Player is almost the best but theres something I still missing in the Player:

Please fix the genre view in the  in the HiRes Database!

- low & high frequency equalization

Missing:

- customizable iOS 8 fresh transparent theme (or somthing like that)

- Missing Music Visualization

- Missing Headphone Visualization (Dolby / Surround also called Quadrophonic with no reverb)

- Missing (create & edit) Playlist function in the HiRes Database

- Missing Compilation view in the iPod & HiRes Database

- Missing play & import music files direct from the HiRes Database (Folder Selection / import) into the playlist

- Missing Playlist editing / managing 

This player only can be better by adding the missing funktions!!

It would be so great if the missing functions will be available in the next update!!
