Unresponsive and old looking
I can’t even message
what’s the point of a messaging app if i cant even join chats? now the app is pretty much useless to me because i’m temporarily banned and can’t join new open chats. very very inconvenient

Sucky app and customer service!
Chats have been consistently empty despite receiving messages and when addressed to customer service, they have generic replies and did nothing to resolve the issue!

bad for foreigners especially for disabled travelers
i have a family of 4, including my wheelchair bound grandfather i needed to use kakao to use the credit card option for kakaot (the taxi app) so after downloading and making an account, i tried to add in my credit card BUT i couldn't add in a credit card or use any of the payment services because i had to be a korean citizen and put in a social security number which i obviously dont have. This app gave me so much trouble and i couldn't even book a single general taxi on kakaot because majority of taxis are under the kakao app hence making it useless to even try to book a taxi. This forced me to attempt to hail an endless barrage of rejections from taxi drivers, and since i could not use the app, it forced me to transport my wheelchair bound grandfather on a not friendly disabled-person transport system
User protection crap
Unable to use Kakao talk too. Ridiculous app . No way to manage the user protection nonsense
