The version 3.1.4 work fine with my Bluetooth to USB midi Converter (DoreMIDI) after few mount of used. No problems….But the lates version 3.2.3 able to connect only half second. After that. The apps disconnect the amp and Bluetooth on my IPad. I do not know why this developper have deleted this option. Volontary probably!?! Because it’s not yours Converter ?

Install the app, propose to buy upgrade, click upgrade button, ask for going to app store, click « Yes » message « Thank you for your purchase » appear , then nothing happens and the upgrade option disappear from the menu. Try the « Restore purchase » option, ask for password to connect to the app store, i enter the password then nothing happens… I don’t mind paying for the upgrade but it’s impossible to get it ???

Great for amp options. But I wanted it for the ability to use the effects more easily. The issue is that when you cycle through the effects it reverts the effect to the factory preset no matter how many times you save the patch.

I am a blind guitarist and I had issues accessing some settings on my katana amplifier. To my great surprise, this application, which is 99% accessible, has opened a whole New World to me. Congratulations!

The app will not connect to the amp with the CME Widi uhost . It just loads when I press connect.

Have to buy a $ 60 bluetooth adaptor to use.

Can I use it with my MacBook Air M2 and is it a one time fee or is this every month subscription… I need to know before I buy it for my iPhone or MacBook Air

The app has a feature that the Boss Tone Studio doesn’t. With the Katana Librarian app, you can tweak a patch then save it directly to your library. Tone Studio makes you save it to one of the amp channels. Lame! Once you start using this app you’ll never need to use the Tone Studio again. No more laptop. The app does it all as far as I can tell. Nice job!

This is hands down the best way to edit patches on the fly without having to drag a computer around wherever you go. I just connect this to my AIRSTEP and it’s off to the races. If I had one or two requests, I wish there was a way to more cleanly organize patches and edit them without the amp having to be connected.

Can I just connect my iPad to the Katana via a usb-c to usb-b cable or do I have to buy the usb adaptor?
