This is my second time trying ketogenic diet, had good results previous. My husband trying this time too , I’ve lost 8 pounds so far in two weeks
I didn’t like it at first but it makes more sense as time went on. Helps me figure out my macros easier and keeps me on track throughout my journey.
Starting out my new lifestyle of Keto was a confusing one before I found this “The Keto Diet” app in the App Store. I read “Keto For Dummies” and was more confused than than I was when I started reading the book. For a book series of “______ For Dummies”, I thought that it would make my new Keto journey simple and easy to adjust to. After installing this app, I was immediately impressed and excited to use The Keto Diet App with all the Insights, Meal Recipes, desserts, a vast variety of meal planning ideas, the actual “how to’s” of the keto diet lifestyle and more. I love the Insights and have learned so many things. I have been a loyal user of journalling my keto food and having all the macros and calories counted automatically, instead of having to record manually. I have been heavy all my life and have tried all sorts of apps, diets, weight loss surgery, and gone to Diet Centres like WW, Nutrisystem, Herbal Magic and Jenny Craig. I didn’t think I could follow the keto diet after WLS, being that it’s so restricting of high fat with the communality of low carb diet. To my complete surprise, I’ve been able to stay on track because of The Keto Diet app, and its excellent information within the app. Since starting with this Keto Diet lifestyle, and app, I have lost 51.2 lbs in the last 3 months. Because of my multiple daily usage of the app, I have become much more active, motivated and determined to reach my goal of 150 lbs sooner than I would’ve not using this app! Thank you for developing such an amazing and incredibly helpful and useful app! I love this app and have gone ahead and become a premium user. Love this app. Easy to use and the reminders make sure I don’t miss putting my info in. One thing that would make it better is a weekly summary of average daily calories.
I’ve been using this app for 7 months. I fall short of filling it in consistently because I know I’ve cheated and just don’t want to see it down so it’s staring me in the face. It really works if you do your work. I’m back on track after gaining 5 lbs, up from the 18 lbs I lost.
Keto App is very good. Has lots of information and easy to use. If I can figure it out at 76 years old it will be a snap for younger folk. I did not stick to it exactly but pretty much cut out sugar and carbs. Had the odd glass of wine and a couple tiny pieces of homemade pie and still lost weight. I garden so moderately active and am healthy. Feeling good!
I really got this for the recipes and articles. I don’t find the food tracking very accurate compared to MyFitnessPal, so I end up entering everything twice and using MFP as the canonical source for calories and macros. Unfortunately I have yet to try any of the recipes so I am only getting value out of the articles at this point. Maybe that will change and I’ll actually try some recipes. It’s ok, and if you haven’t done keto before it could be helpful. I have done it before so I’m getting less out of it.
I started Keto from day 1 with this app. Lost 35 pounds and still going. Good plan, recipes and insights. Ask for help a few times and received prompt answers. Highly recommend!
