Killer sudoku is a popular variation on classic sudoku puzzles. To complete a puzzle you must fill the board with numbers that obey traditional sudoku rules AND make each outlined region sum to a specific value. The grid begins blank, but these rules give you all the information you need to solve the puzzle!
Solving a killer sudoku puzzle requires a lot of notes, so we worked hard to make the note entry features in this app perfect. A dedicated note keypad and the ability to select multiple squares makes entering notes fast. You can even make combination lists that float above the puzzle and can be rearranged on the screen! Cross out combinations from your lists as you rule them out.
Our interface is so good, you may prefer it to doing puzzles on paper.

Killer Sudoku
I like this game as it is a combination of Sudoku and Kakuro. Both games made the mind works and when both combined, more challenging. I like the feature of possible combination all prepared for us. Appreciate the calculator so need no mental calculation.

Sudoku puzzles should never be too simple. The tougher, the better. I tried karuko long ago but did not quite it going. After playing Killer Sukoku, I went back to try karuko and found that it was much easier to understand. Killer Sudoku helps you remember certain number combinations, such as 987 for 24, 1235 for 11, 124 for 7 and so on. The Easy puzzles here were a good start. I am not sure if total beginners will find it too tough. I am finding the Medium level not too easy but I can't wait to the really tough levels. Puzzles which are too simple tend to insult the intelligence of the player but, on the other hand, it may not attract beginners. The features of this version are commendable, especially the calculator and the possible combinations list. It would be even better if the list of combinations shown allows the player to delete the ones which won't apply to allow the player to solve by process of elimination. For instance, if three squares show a total of 20, the possible combinations might show 389, 479 and 875. There might be a 3 on the same line so we can delete 389 from the list, leaving the other two and we know this 20 has a "7" in it. I like the smaller, temporary numbers too. Generally, it is as if the player is playing on the hardcopy and writing the unsure solutions in pencil and of in smaller size numbers. So all the features that simulate a player writing out the numbers on a printout of the puzzle are clever.
