Wish there was a way to limit or choose how to use up accumulated production days from having the game closed, I want to play with pollution but having like 400 years pass every time I come back to the game means there is so much pollution I could have dealt with in that time

Nice one guys. Great depth. ND perspective here, but the success of a lot of ancient civilizations was based on trade. Between RnD on gold and RnD on embassy, there is almost no space - ignoring about 3000 years of trade supremacy. Basically you haven’t even traded once before you can build an embassy. Can I recommend that the total numbers in trade with first civ be reduced. Start with ratio equivalent of 80-90 wood. Have a mechanic to increase volume? Also, can you fix the flickering numbers? Positioning totals differently on 4 - 5 digits is an eyesore.

I can see what it’s trying to do, but any comparison to something excellent like the dark room is nonsense. The progression is all over the shop, it’s never very clear what you need to do and when and as far as I can tell it doesn’t have any meaningful story. I never felt at any point like the upgrades made much of a difference and then after not playing for a day I came back and there are so many upgrades available now, none of which have been explained and I’ve reached the point where I just don’t care anymore. Waste of money.

I absolutely love this game. This one and A Dark Room are my two favourites. Unfortunately though at times when I leave the game it will delete what I just did. It’s been happening a lot more as well since my first reset and it’s really annoying when I’m trying to save for something

Picked this up on a whim and haven't put it down for days! A surprisingly deep game full of secrets and surprises- and it's being actively updated! Highly recommend this to anybody at all curious!

Decided to pick this up again and my progress constantly keeps wiping. It’s great to have cloud saves but when that doesn’t automatically get saved you’re going back to the last time you manually did it.

one of the all time greats in terms of this genre, gets to the heart of what makes these games fun, big recommend. HOWEVER, the interface gets a bit wonky and often times I’ll be pressing a button and hit another, and this keeps going and will only be fixed by restarting, which can be frustrating. it’s definitely possible my old phone is agitating the situation, but i also don’t have these problems with any other game or app, so i think i can safely say that it’s this game’s interface that doesn’t work quite properly. still, good stuff devs!

Buildings to reduce unhappiness and decrease catnip consumption seem to have no such effect. Otherwise I think this is a really good ideal game.

I want to play this game on mobile, but background refresh makes it inconvenient for resources like spices, fur, and ivory unless I check back frequently early game. I'm also afraid of coming back to a graveyard if I go long enough without playing.
