## Klapp Description
Klapp ist eine einfache und intuitive Lösung, welche die Kommunikation zwischen Schule, Eltern und Schüler*innen vereinfacht und digitalisiert. Klapp erlaubt die Übermittlung von Nachrichten und Dateien in privaten Nachrichten oder als Chat. Termine der Schule und Absenzmeldungen werden übersichtlich im Kalender angezeigt, welcher zudem mit der lokalen Kalender-App synchronisiert werden kann. Videokonferenzen sind in Klapp integriert. Ausgedruckte Briefe, Rundtelefone, Kontakthefte, telefonische Absenzmeldungen und eine zugeklebte Pinwand gehören der Vergangenheit an.

### *---- "Extremely slow, inefficient, buggy and inconvenient."
The app is horrible. Developers have not used any of the standard elements of iOS, trying to make it “nicer”. But they only make it really inconvenient. The worst is the input of the text. It is not a native iOS input. Which means, that you can not use the translation tool in the popup (!) Often the keyboard is not shown. The typing is laggy, which results in a lot of typos. When you open a conversation, it is also a non-native element, you could not select the text and copy it. You could not use iOS translation of the selection. You can not use iOS “Look Up” functionality. It is only possible to use the app’s copy and build-in translator. The icons are non-intuitive.

Gute Idee, leider nicht so gut umgesetzt: ist unzuverlässig, nicht intuitive Benutzeroberfläche, die dann zu Anwenderfehlern führt. In unserer Schule werden deswegen wieder vermehrt Mails versendet.

Text aus Nachrichten kann nicht mehr kopiert werden, Drucken funktioniert auch nicht.
Daten und Termine in Nachrichten können nicht angeklickt und so in Kalender übertragen werden wie man das von modernen Messengern kennt.

Unbelievable that the app isn’t made for the daily work of teachers. Not possible to send documents (e.g. pupils reviews), communicate dead lines and more. Seems more like a chat with no additional value: teachers are still being contacted by WhatsApp and other communication channels. Parents with two or more children seems not to understand that every child needs to be treated separately There is no history/archive for the communication with the children. Hence, what’s the purpose of the communication? Why not keep the traces of topics that has been communicated with parents? Very disappointing

Additionally: some parents doesn’t want to use the app. Can a message be sent to their email address?

Schreibt man dem Lehrer eine Antwort, heisst‘s „Nachricht an XY“, tatsächliche Empfänger nicht ersichtlich. - Im nachhinein sieht man dann, dass die Antwort an die halbe Welt ging. Echt besch…..euert 🤦🏻‍♂️

Die App löst eins der grossen Probleme in der Schule - Eltern - Schüler Kommunikation und ist daher sehr begrüssenswert. Viele der typischen Schulprozesse, wie die Betreuungs An- und Abmeldung oder Wahl vom Schularzt oder Privatarzt fehlen, was die Arbeit der Schuladministration und der Eltern nur partiell erleichtert.
Die User Experience kann man noch deutlich verbessern.
Also ein MVP, der wichtige Funktionen beinhaltet, aber noch viel Arbeit benötigt zum finalen Produkt.

Es ist wirklich mühsam: Wenn man eine Nachricht erhält und diese laden möchte, dreht sich das Ladesymbol unendlich lange. Man muss das Handy ausschalten und es dann erneut versuchen – erst dann funktioniert es. Echt ärgerlich.

Links aus Emails, SMS oder WhatsApp führen neuerdings immer zu Klapp statt zum Browser. Da andere Apps dieses Problem nicht haben, ist es eine Fehlprogrammierung bei Klapp. Ärgerlich.

Sehr nützliche App. 
Eine Suchfunktion bei der man die Namen sofort suchen kann wäre ebenfalls hilfreich. 

Oder wenn die Kontakte nach Vornamen gelistet werden können. 

Ansonsten eine sehr tolle App, habe ich selber während der Schulzeit in 2012 auch immer gewünscht.

### *---- "Ideologische Beeinflussung durch die Gendersternchen"
Die App Klapp, die von unserer Schule vorgeschlagen wurde, ist an sich eine gute Idee für die Kommunikation zwischen Eltern und Schule. Leider wird jedoch durch die durchgängige Verwendung von Gendersternchen (z.B. Lehrer\*innen, Schüler\*innen) eine politische Ideologie vermittelt, die ich als fehl am Platz empfinde. Die App sollte neutral und unvoreingenommen sein und sich auf die wesentlichen Funktionen konzentrieren, ohne eine bestimmte Weltanschauung zu fördern. Die Gender-Sprache trägt nur zur Spaltung bei und führt zu unnötiger Verwirrung. Ich hoffe, dass die Entwickler dies überdenken und eine inklusivere und weniger polarisierende Lösung finden.

Mes données d’identification sont stockées dans iCloud et FaceID s’active lorsque je démarre l‘application. Malgré tout les champs utilisateur et mot de passe ne se remplissent pas, ils restent vides.
Donc inutilisable sous IOS en particulier si on utilise un mot de passe robuste, ce qui devrait toujours être le cas, surtout qu’une double authentification n’est pas proposée.

Au moins ça fonctionne dans un browser, raison de mes deux étoiles au lieu de zéro…
