Booked Avis rental through Klook and T&C stated no additional charges. Not even insurance needed.
Purchased Travel Insurance from Singlife as additional protection.
Upon completion of rental and return of car, Avis charged additional ~50% of what I paid to Klook.
I returned the car with full tank of petrol and Avis charged me too.
Reached out to Klook and Klook refused to help. Just keep saying I need to work with Avis.

### *---- "Lousy Day Trip! Overcrowded bus!"
Booked a day trip to Asahiyama Zoo, Biei and Ningle Terrace in Hokkaido in December 2024.

We were informed to wait at JR Sapporo Station bus parking area. This place is like a small bus terminal. There was no specific pickup point instructed. When we reached there were many tour groups assemblying everywhere and we were not sure which one was our group. I whatsapp a picture of the exact point where we were to the tour guide. She informed us to wait. The bus came late and we were worried that we'd missed the bus. It was so chaotic and stressful. 

We were informed to arrived 15 mins early and the bus was about 15 mins late, so we ended up standing 30 mins in the cold. Finally the tour guide called us to walk out to the main road to board the bus. Not sure why the bus didn't drive into the bus park as I could see other tour groups boarding their buses within the bus park. Luckily my phone had a connection, else I would have missed the bus as it was stopped along the main road and did not enter the bus park, contrary to their earlier instruction.

It was a small 18 seater bus which had picked up others at an earlier pickup point and was almost full with 3 empty seats left. My family of 4 including a child were split and separately seated on the bus. As for me, I was asked to occupy the front seat beside the driver. I had to climb in and out of that seat throughout the rest of the day as there was no passenger side door for the small shuttle bus.

Not even an apology was offered by the guide. What a shame.

Gave feedback to Klook and no response from them as expected.

Regretted booking this trip!

Be cautious when purchasing on Klook. They will accept booking without being able to fulfil it and cancel right after. Better to buy it from the sites directly to not be disappointed.

Number found on their website is not in used when dialed. Will highly not recommend to use this app for any purchase.

I bought USS tickets using their promo buy 1 free 1 link, but never received the free tickets. After I communicated with the staff, they said is already fully redeemed but it was not updated on their website. They bounced me back and forth, saying they need to check and will update me again after many days. By the time I can’t be bothered anymore, I want to raise my no-show refund, they now tell me the claim process period is over already and I cannot claim back any money. This is totally cheating, the claim period is over because of their delay. So is this considered as their delay tactics so that nobody will be able to claim back their refunds?

I booked a pre-order for Spacia X tickets in Japan way in advance. On the day it was supposed to be issued - it got cancelled immediately. There was no waiting for additional 2 days to see if there is available tickets or not. The reason given: sold out/out of stock. However, it was still available on the app with error message that the service was suspended. Totally confusing and the customer service just said rebook if available - no discussion about price difference. Worse, there is add-ons which can totally be rebooked on the app immediately which was cancelled also - reason maybe typhoon. Typhoon happening now - not 1 month later. Requested that at least the add-ons not cancelled. Response: sorry no go. Very disappointing - cannot even call to talk to the customer service. Pros: good if everything goes well Cons: poor customer service when things don’t go well.

Update: rebook and useless - didn’t get it even though I almost got it from official system! IF YOU WANT SPACIA X TICKET AT NON STANDARD/PREMIUM SEAT, DO NOT USE KLOOK! Also very funny, this time they still processed my add-ons which was bought at higher price than previous one. Don’t know why this time can but the previous one cannot.

Supported Klook for many many year almost 10 years. From a nice friendly platform with human touch, they have progressed well in business that they are now a company of ridiculous arrogance with extreme bad customer support. Even peaks for level 2 Gold is trashy. Sometimes they have decent deals that price might be slightly better than on site. But the poor and arrogant, non empathetic service is so bad that any price saving fades in comparison. Finally I got enough of their arrogance, I’m trying out KKDay for my upcoming. Hopefully will work out better than this in the long term. I’ve tried KKDay once or twice before but started much earlier with Klook hence I kept supporting Klook. But it is just getting so bad.

My recent experience with Klook's tour was nothing short of a disheartening ordeal tainted by racism, unprofessionalism, and incompetence.

Let's start with the tour guide, who exhibited a disturbing lack of professionalism and respect for diversity. Despite being informed that the tour was advertised as catering to both Chinese and English-speaking participants, the guide blatantly disregarded our language preferences. We repeatedly clarified our inability to understand Chinese, yet our requests for English communication were met with disdain. To exacerbate matters, the guide openly discouraged fellow tour members from engaging with us, fostering an atmosphere of exclusion and discomfort. The tour guide's refusal to accommodate our language needs and the condescending manner in which paragliding inquiries were addressed reflect a blatant disregard for basic courtesy and professionalism.

The litany of disappointments did not end there. Klook's staff demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism and integrity, manifesting in the dissemination of false itineraries and schedules. Despite booking the tour specifically for the paragliding experience, I was dismayed to discover upon arrival that the itinerary provided was outdated and inaccurate. This disconnect between advertised offerings and reality underscores a systemic issue of misrepresentation and mismanagement within Klook's operations. Moreover, attempts to rectify these discrepancies were met with delayed responses and inadequate resolutions from Klook's customer service team, further exacerbating the frustration and disillusionment.

In light of these shortcomings, I cannot in good conscience recommend this tour to fellow travelers. The discriminatory treatment and incompetence I encountered not only tarnish Klook's reputation but also undermine the trust and confidence of potential customers. Until significant improvements are made to address these issues, prospective patrons would be wise to seek alternative travel arrangements.
