It wasn’t available in my version of the new app. She told me that I was just not looking in the right place. It took her 30 minutes to finally agree that parts were missing from my apps data. There always seems to be some slowness or processing issue. When we call the Helpdesk there is always a long wait for assistance. It seems like staffing and maybe infrastructure of the IT systems fall short. The app has a very restricted in store feature. By aisle is the only mode to plan shopping. While in the store, employees say the app needs to be connected to their WiFi, not cellular, but they say when the store is full of people the network is not strong enough. An employee actually told me there are too many people in the store, I was shocked. I use their Kroger Plus Shoppers Card. That they are convenient to where I live is merely a bonus. The Kroger App is a wonderful tool. It allows you to easily attach e-coupons to your Kroger account. You can look items up, check availability and add them to a shopping list that tells you where they are in the store! I have never had occasion to use either pickup or delivery but the app has allowances for those as well. I actually enjoy shopping in person but it is nice to know that, if I ever needed it, delivery is a keystroke away. I have had it going on three years and the only thing I can do is clip coupons and add to my cart. I cannot checkout anything, pickup or delivery. Contacted live chat several times and guess what they told me to do… sign out of my account, wait a while, then sign back in.
