Every single bike I try to add (e.g., 2023 450 XCF-W, 2025 300 XC-W) returns a “Bike model not supported!” error. So the latest model dirt bikes don’t matter? Is that what you’re telling me KTM product management and app engineers? I just want my manuals in one place.

It is nice to have turn by turn directions on the display of the motorcycle; but, there is no actual way to use stored or saved locations from the handlebars. KTM customer service states it is a phone issue, but that seems inaccurate, as it is an issue with any phone.  The reality is that not all of the advertised features exist and it is a shame to have paid for features that are not actually existing.

Even after this latest update I still can’t connect the app to a 2025 KTM 390 SMC R. 

At least now the app shows a name for pairing, but it will not pair. 

I tried about 8-10 times. 

Originally the phone tooks three attempts to pair, but it did. 

The app would even bring up a prompt to pair but this last updated does attempt to pair but always fails.

After communicating with other owners on the Facebook Group KTM 390 SMC R it seems that the app works for Android users but not for IOS users.

It EATS away at the battery. I just went on a ride for 30 min at my phone went from 100% to 22%. Any other navigation app doesn’t do that. 

This app has also taken me the wrong way multiple times. The GPS feature is not clear and often gets me lost instead of taking me the right way. 

I’ve had to run Apple Maps in the background with the sound on to get the right instructions. 

Just purchase a mount and put your phone on your bike instead of this app.

The navigation search barely works, most thing don't come up. You can't search by name or address effectively. If you paste exact addresses from Google maps it will say not found. If you search for a business name it'll say not found.

The only workaround I've found is to drop a pin in Google maps and then copy the latitude and longitude and paste that in the ktm navigation.

The navigation integration with the display is a nice feature. However, the navigation app is horrible. Every time I have used it,
It freezes at a certain point in the ride. Also, if you take a different route, it fails to reroute. Compared with Google/Apple maps, it’s severely lacking.

Last, the app provides no motorcycle information which isn’t par for the course for modern vehicles.

After several months of trying to use the navigation app, I have given up. To date, I haven’t been able to complete a single route successfully. 

The app has no other functional use.

I have a 350sxf and the app never connects. I have had to update the ecu update the COU and it still never works. The COU unit is a waste of money as is the app. Don’t buy the COU unit or a factory edition bike they’re a waste of money.

This app has many of the features it should, but ONLY if you pay a monthly subscription. Many of the useful things are locked behind a subscription paywall that many other companies such as BMW provide for free. 

$9 a month is ludicrous for some of these features but KTM has proven they like to nickel and dime with their bike packages also.
