The most recent version has now removed the animation controls from the expanded radar screen, requiring the user to toggle back and forth to the minimal screen for controls.  
Pretty clear this is just to give more screen time to the ads.  
Not a fan of these changes.

This app gets slower and slower all the time. Since last update, it freezes every time I scroll down to look at the hourly. Abandoning for something reliable.

Been using the app for years and this is a fairly reliable app for our local weather but has several caveats. 1. Takes 10 seconds or longer for the app to load. 2. Way too many adds that get in the way especially when you need the weather information immediately such as for severe weather. Need an option for no adds. 3. The weather isn’t always accurate. This isn’t unusual as the weather here changes so quickly but they seem to rely on the click bait method a lot. They will send notifications telling you that a certain weather even could be happening and then when you look at the forecast there’s nothing but clear skies expected and decent temperatures. The notification was sent just to get you to click on the app so they can make add revenue. This happens more times than not lately. 4. It would be nice if they had a widget available for the app.. I know this is a lot and everyone has their own opinions on what they like and don’t. So my suggestion is to download the app and judge for yourself. As i said its not a bad app for local weather but improvements could
be made.

There are tornado warnings and severe hail damage warnings and we have to watch an ad for a law firm specializing in accidents. I suppose you might need it after the storm decimates your house and family while you’re trying to get relevant information!

This app weather showing the actual temp right now as 24 but forecast low today as 41. It is 8 am Jan 6th 2023. There are always discrepancies like this with temps and precip status. Usually every weather app has the same wrong info. The source of the info must be the error, they don’t actually create their own weather forecast, they just repeat a supplied forecast. Would be better if we knew a hard freeze was possible this morning.

I like having the ability to see the local forecast on my phone, but the ads that play every time I want to view information is overwhelming. I under stand the need to make money on a app but every time you want to play a video make me not use this app as much as other apps. At least give an option to upgrade to eliminate some ads.
