## Leap Top Up Description
This official Leap Top-Up app from Transport for Ireland (TFI) allows you to check your balance, top-up your TFI Leap Card and purchase tickets - directly from your NFC-enabled iPhone.

Open the app and simply hold your TFI Leap Card to the back, top of your iPhone to instantly check your balance, buy a ticket, collect a pre-paid ticket, or top-up your card – anytime, anywhere.

Key Features:
* Check your balance – see the current balance of any TFI Leap Card
* Top-up instantly by using the dial to select a top-up value or tap to enter your desired amount
* Check the daily, weekly capping value 
* Buy and Collect pre-paid tickets or tickets bought online from LeapCard.ie
* View your last 5 transactions
* Receive receipts via email for top-ups made via the app
* Save your payment details 
* View your card information at a glance
* View ticket information for tickets on your TFI Leap Card

Note: The Leap Top-up app's minimum requirement is an iPhone 7 running iOS 13.0.
Due to the NFC chips used on iPhone 7 and 7 Plus some users may experience scanning issues or delays when scanning their TFI Leap Card. If the app fails to read the card it is recommended to adjust the position of the card.

Can only access account by scanning your card. Scan function is in the 99 percentile range of not reading the card (new-ish card nearly 2yo). Why there isn’t a function to use the card number as an alternative access or register the card to an account to top up off-line shows a lack of purpose in its design. I would give it no stars if it were an option! Apple should not allow this product on the store with this functionality.

Leap card isn’t read 40% of the time. No matter how long I leave it there for. Unbelievably aggravating when the train is soon and the only ticket machine is on the platform heading southside, because for some reason it’s the norm that only the southbound platforms have adequate facilities to be called a train station. A recent update eliminated all my card details forcing me to re enter my saved ones, and then it bugged and made me re enter them again, leading me to miss my train.

If you want people not to ride on the train without a ticket then develop a working app that makes it quick and easy to purchase tickets and top up leap cards. Until then you are punishing people who actually pay for transport.

Awful, awful app I need to use out of necessity.

The app redirects to Payzone in a web browser window. From there, the Payzone step doesn’t work.
