I think study cat is a very good app to learn languages. As you can imagine kids love to explore and try new games. Though you can only try new games if you subscribe which in my opinion is not the best because if your parents say no then you are stuck with plain games. I wish that kids can express them selves in the games no matter if you subscribe or not. If you do that you might get better ratings and let the kids have more fun. The other games look really fun and it’s a bummer not to try them.

Male sample voice is great. The female voice has a strong lisp and pronounces many words wrong. Her voice is also quite annoying because she keeps screaming. My kids obviously need to learn proper pronunciation and this app is not providing that. I’d suggest to urgently replace the female voice. Really not cool. Otherwise fun games and good starter app to learn most basic language skills

The various games appeal very much to my son and thus offer an enjoyable opportunity of apprehending german vocabulary. 
Also it should be mentioned that the voice recordings that one can listen to while playing are excellent. They obviously had some native speakers work on that. Highly recommendable!
