Ledlenser Connect

The app allows you to program your light settings and control it directly from your phone/tablet. It would be even better if it also worked on the apple watch. I already own the wrist remote but it can be impractical to wear it as well as my wristwatch. I use my headlamp in my role as an emergency services worker and it would be great to control it from my wrist or using voice commands instead of reaching up to my helmet.

Individual control of lamps is nice, but group and scene control is also great, and necessary for multiple lights. Does LedLenser not want customers to buy more lamps? I could imagine a whole patio of these. Is there an open source API? LedLenser hasn’t updated the app for 2 years so it seems software will likely remain the the issue holding things back. Free the lights!

Battery is decent, not great. I I wish boost, full brightness, stayed on, just like any other mode and didn’t automatically change. Other than that, I use this on my helmet, mount with supplied clamp on my handlebars, used for walking and hiking. and nothing I’ve ever had in the past can even come close. I love this light, it is a game changer for being out at night time.

Will there be an update for Apple Watch support?

Pros: Simple and intuitive to use. All the features one could want. Love setting up camp. Have multiple ML6 connect, and being able to program the individual light settings and the ability to control them from my phone with the app or the wrist remote is sick. Can stick the lights on my car camper setup (w/ the magnetic base, or even hang them out of reach and still be able to control them easily with the app or remote. By far the coolest rechargeable lantern I have ever seen, and awesome app. Cons: Wish I could connect to both at the same time through the app to change settings on both at the same time, instead of having to connect to each individually to control each light separately or to get them synced them up again. Needs ability to rename devices in the app vs trying to guess which serial number represents each light would be useful. To control lights w/ remote separately, you need to have a separate remote. Not cool to have 3 or more controllers on my arm… or even more than one). Making the watch slightly bigger with selectable programmable channels (small numbered buttons 1-3? To control each light individually or control separate groups of lights) At least having the ability to “group” lights on the app and control more than one at once. Overall, love the app capabilities so far! Nothing beats it.

So far the app and light and working great. Still need to test in the field but app works as expected: quick to connect, easy to pair with remote and customizable setting for the lamp itself. 👍🏻🔦📡👌🏻

They always have the best lights I’ve tried coast , fenix, and other companies. No one ever compares to LED LENSER. I use one almost every night to walk my dogs. And I work construction and they always come in handy. I must have 8 different types and I am happy with every single one .

Die App kann so ziemlich alles an Funktionen steuern, die man sich vorstellen kann. Es nervt aber extrem, dass sowohl beim verbinden, als auch beim schließen der App die Lampe immer, zur Bestätigung blinkt. Hier sollte man zumindest in den Einstellungen die Wahl haben.

Die automatische Helligkeit und der Fokus funktioniert sehr gut allerdings für meine Zwecke total unbrauchbar (Angeln etc) weil, um so dunkler die Umgebung umso heller die Lampe. In meinem Fall dann nonstop auf höchster Helligkeit. Akku super schnell leer und alles drum herum geblendet. Wenn das noch irgendwie über die App einstellbar wäre dann Top!!
