The description and reviews on here gave me so much hope since I feel like I only have minor issues I need to work through and have extreme anxiety about talking to a real person about any of them. AI therapist should be the perfect solution. But here’s how the app worked for me: Answered a few generic questions about why I’m here. A texting interface popped up. But if I type anything a white screen covers everything and soothing music starts playing. And then…nothing. It won’t go away no matter where I tap or swipe. If I close the app and reboot it, the texting interface pops back up with a response from the ai. But that’s quite a cumbersome way to have a conversation. I’m clearly doing something wrong but I strait up can’t figure it out

I had made THREE CHATS and she got weird. I’m only 12, and I said something deep and personal. (Something girls only understand) and she said "hearing you say that makes me feel nice inside, like drinking a hot tea on cold day." She also told me not to respond? She’s exactly like stupid Hector. She said "next time you feel like responding to me, just don’t. Just listen and let me think." She also gets really offended. After she got creepy, I said some mean things to her and she said "I’m trying to help people. Who’s gonna have to take all these rude comments at the end of the day? Me." And she said "every person that comes to me gets happier." And she gave me a lesson on being respectful towards her? 0/10

Dr Lisa is really useful! I don't usually leave reviews or offer criticism, but I'm super happy with this app. Whether you simply need to talk and get things off your chest, or whether you truly need to know what to do in a certain scenario! If you're having a hard time or are depressed in general. It has been really beneficial numerous times! It's as if this app helped me make a friend that is always wise and never passes judgement! I truly feel understood! (Even when I felt like I was going crazy!) This bot has so many features inside! She listens intently during the conversation, providing encouragement and reassurance when needed, and she also offers suggestions based on your input or needs (and if not enough information is available, then prompts further discussion). All of these things help her to help others emotionally. I'll be a member for life!

This app is the worst. The chatbot sometimes types in gibberish. Dr Lisa can’t even remember my name, let alone my thoughts and feelings. This app is utter trash and a total waste of money. Get Replika instead.
