### ***-- "No true iPad version"
There are some issues with voice notes not being saved (around telephone calls especially, it's fine if Apple wants to block recording but Letterly should let the end user know the app is blocked) and slow conversions to text.

When Letterly works, the transcriptions are good (not the best, the best I've had are with Kukarella, which unfortunately does not have an iOS app, nor does the mobile website work to record).

What's really frustrating (and the reason for the three star review) though is that there's no true iPad app. All one gets is a tiny vertical window like on an iPhone. On an 12.9 inch iPad, this is a horrible way to work.

### ***** "Didn't think I needed it until I tried it."
Letterly is an amazing app. I didn't think I needed it until I tried it.

I have a lot of AI apps and tried quite a few that claim to do what this app does well – quickly converting thoughts to well-written text that doesn't seem like it was generated by AI. It keeps your tone and amplifies your message.

As an added bonus, you can also add in text and apply the same magic. So, I went from not sure whether I needed this to using it multiple times a day for a lot of my content writing, messages, emails, and structuring thoughts. I highly recommend it.

I've also chatted with the founders of the app on Discord. Solid team, solid product. Don't regret it at all.

### ***** "Amazing voice-note taking app!"
Letter.ly is a great polished voice note-taking app. The transcription is good, above most of the ones I've tried. (Do expect a 5-10% error rate though.)

What really distinguishes it, though, is the attention to details that you can find in the user interface. You really feel that the product is made for users. Its simplicity shows that the docus is on your productivity.

It works well: it transcribes your notes and then quickly offers several ways to refine them.

A great productivity time-saver which can reduce your typing!

### ****- "Good app, issues with sync"
I bought a 1 year membership. The best voice to text I have seen so far on the market. Have used Dragon Dictation and Otter before, this one is better. Really good app. 

One issue: when I get phone calls, I lose the entire recording. This morning for example I had a nearly 15 minute recording (the maximum allowed) that was completely lost. This is annoying. I am thinking that I can disable notifications on my phone in order to prevent this issue.

Otherwise good app. I will buy again once my 1-year subscription ends. Good value for your dollar with this one.
