App will no longer find my LG HTS despite it being connected to the same WiFi

Couldn’t find any way of being able to listen to Blu Rays through my Bluetooth headphones. This sends the sound to the IPad and the earphones connected to it. Great tool.

Was connecting fine last month, nothing different with LG tv. No way to use headphones without this App! Would be great if we could manually add WiFi address.

Doesn’t work with my LG sound bar.

Well after 3 years of incompatible apps, LG have now released a working version. I’d all but given up on being able to control my ‘Smart’ LG 9.1 AV Receiver. I’d only recently reconnected it to the WiFi and by chance download this app and to my surprise it finally works again! 3 Stars for taking years to offer what you sold as a connected device with remote app, which you didn’t support until very recently.

Struggled with LG TVs and Blue Ray DVD Player for years now. LG told me after just 2 years the OS on my TV was not being developed/updated anymore and is obsolete!! Only 2 years old and a premium price. I find it cheaper and easier to buy a google chrome cast or similar and convert any HDMI TV to a smart TV. To confirm; Blue Ray Player currently does not work with any LG AV Remote on iOS App Store and TV is obsolete and is hit and miss with the old style out of date LG TV Remote!! Rubbish LG

Update review Oct 2018. They updated it. Excellent. Works sometimes. Pot luck. Not at all on IOS 11 now. We getting new TV and sound system for Xmas and 2 for new log cabins. Guess what brand we will NOT be getting. That’s right LG. Pointless making a smart tv when apps are rubbish.
