Libby, the library app

So easy to use and feels good being able to return the ebook after reading it. Saves Petrol! The ladies at our Tokoroa Library are really happy and helpful too!

I’ve always been a big fan of the Libby app, but lately, the new update has been frustrating. When you search for books or authors, they no longer show up! Also, if you're a member of multiple libraries, the app used to show results from all of them at once. Now, you have to manually switch between libraries to see what's available, which is a hassle. Most complaints about Libby seem to be about local library issues, but this is about the app itself.

Libby has been transformative, access to such a wide range of books / audio books has enriched my life.

My daughter introduced me to Libby and it has allowed me to read freely and widely again, without worrying about spending money. The selection of books from Aotearoa is a real bonus too. I love this app!
