Die Rettung der Welt liegt mit der epischen Weltraumschlacht von Lightning Figther 2 in deinen Händen! Lightning Figther 2 führt neue Stadtlevel in das Spiel ein! Spring in deine neuen Flieger und schütze die Städte vor den Alien-Eindringlinge!

Niemand weiß, weshalb die Aliens kamen, um uns zu vernichten. Doch eines ist sicher: Ihre Macht ist beispiellos. Trotz des mutigen Widerstands der menschlichen Rasse waren sämtliche Anstrengungen vergebens. Schon bald verwüsteten die Aliens die Erde, und alles, was uns blieb, waren die letzte Festung und ein einziger Hoffnungsschimmer – ein mächtiger Kern  aus einem Schlachtschiff der Aliens, für den unzählige Soldaten ihr Leben lassen mussten. Lightning – der Prototyp eines Superfliegers und ausgestattet mit dem Alienkern – ist die einzige Hoffnung zur Rettung der Erde. Werden wir scheitern oder siegen?
