I really like using Linkedln as a social media platform as it’s got some pretty useful and interesting features to use but when it comes to actually using as a job site it’s pretty awful. I have noticed as of lately a heavy increase in the amount of fake jobs being created on the platform by people wishing to exploit people into human trafficking or work exploitation and it’s not good. Linkedln really need to vet all the people that use the platform to create new jobs on there and also have better security and policies in place to prevent such things happening moving forwards so it’s not good that they’re not doing enough to stop this happening at the moment.

The platform is technically powerful and steadily gets even better. From a user point of view I can ‘publish’ a newspaper a day fast. 

It is well engineered and very robust, IMV. 

The actual LI management of what is posted, and its exposure to allowing pro-Russian bots and trolls to take down Ukrainians and Ukraine posters supporters, remains truly woeful. 

Controls are inadequate. 

Outside of its core recruitment focus, in which it remains skilled, LinkedIn Managment appear undertrained, naive, and still not up to any ‘political’ posting management task. 

LI’s senior management remains very well hidden, inaccessible and unaccountable. 

A sad state of affairs.

Having paid for premium membership, I received an email notifying me that a perk of premium membership was 4 free sessions with better help. I followed the link and it prompted me for a code, I then contacted customer service asking for the code. 

After almost 3 weeks of back and forth over email, I was finally sent a code. 

I applied the code and got the message that it had expired. I then contacted customer service again, showing a screenshot of the issue. I was sent a second code that had also expired or been used. 

LinkedIn suggested I contact better help, which I did and they said LinkedIn should send me a 3rd code. Linked in are refusing to do so.

I have received a really unprofessional email saying I have been several codes, which is just plain incorrect and that he is refusing to help, despite me having an email from their partner in the offer saying they should help me!  

Would really expect more from a service charging £40 a month!

I’ve also been unable to verify my account through the app and their partner. Just generally poor all round!

This is honestly unusable and does not make sense.

In the past couple of weeks the “profile viewers” screen for free users won’t show anybody. I used to be able to see a few most recent viewers in the app but this is no longer the case. 

The web version does still show this, indicating a bug that is still present in v9.30.5750.4

Fix it please, your service is already incredibly low value for free users and this will soon be the nail in the coffin.
