I have some problems with the new update. The new navigation is nonsensical to me. What is the difference between “home” and “my communities”? The most annoying change is that there is no way to get the red notification dot to disappear from the icon on the Home Screen. Basically a “mark as read”
Hello, I’d like to consume content via the app, however a few things are lacking. - scroll bar, to fast scroll. - tap top, to scroll to top - momentum scrolling All of the above, is default behavior for iOS and most apps published on it, yet missing in this app. I hope this “criticism” comes across as constructive, because I really enjoy the locals community. Videos consistently freeze, then restarts from the beginning, very annoying when you a listening while driving. If you’re streaming on WiFi and you leave WiFi range (like when someone leaves their house in the morning), the video freezes, then restarts from the beginning. If you’re driving and your cell service drops from 5g to 4g, the video freezes, then restarts from the beginning. If you pause for a few minutes and try to restart where you left off… it might work, or it might freeze, then restart from the beginning.

Been using locals for about 5 months now. There are a lot of issues with content restarting. Sometimes it’s random, sometimes it’s when you switch from full screen to vertical player mode. Very frustrating to have to constantly find where you left off in a 2 hour show. Unfortunately, this is the only way to watch the content I subscribe to.
I have an iPad Air 4th Gen and while i can create posts, i cannot reply to posts or comments on posts. There is no visible box to input text or visible button to submit text. I don't have this problem on my iPhone 15 Pro, same app ui update. I reached out via X to no avail. // It's July 29, 2024 and there issue has not been fixed.
For the love of what ever deity you follow. Please fix the sorting method. It was bad before I updated. Now it is near impossible to find the videos and history of people I follow. It is nearly unusable in this state. Do you people even test this before putting it out????
I made a account on rumble 3 times and each time it gives me a different way to not log in. 1. I’m stuck on the verification email screen that I already verified 2. I make a apple Face ID account and it’s saying I don’t have a account on there. 3. I make a Facebook login account and it’s giving me a 404 error code screen. Fix your app.
locals will be a better app in the long run due to its ecosystem and integration; however, the app is technically challenged. could really use an upgrade with: -removing countdown duration after livestream is already recorded -hyperlinks for time-stamped bookmarks, so we can merely click on the link to jump to the segment in the video -bookmarks consistency, where the bookmarks in description are denoted by current runtime, whereas the media player denotes remaining runtime -mass “mark as read” notification manager
