Made a suggestion to the developer to more reliably include information on equipment selection - they were really responsive and came back with good suggestions of how they might improve this (and the huge efforts they’ve already been making in this regard). Love this app. Incredibly useful to find photo locations when you’re out and about and travelling.
A great tool to help inspire and find those eye-catching locations. It’s simple, but better for it. The geo-locating information is so useful, giving you a helping hand in planning your next trip and shots you want to capture. Great app!
Brilliant app, really well thought out and easy to use. Super simple to bring up a list of great photography spots within preset distances from either your current location or a specified location should you wish to plan in advance. You may then preview a photo of each, then learn useful tips like access to the location, best times to photograph etc.. Once you decide to visit the photo spot, you can then click one button to start your in-built phone navigation to the best place to park - then one more click to guide you by foot to the exact point. If you want an easy way to find great photo spots without the hit and miss problems that we face, this app is a no brainer!!
The app is a game changer and the around me feature with the detailed info and easy navigation saves hours of guess work and unnecessary travel. Well done this really makes exploring new areas easy and stress free and is a huge help with my photography
Signed up for free trial. Showed me a beautiful photo of a river at sunrise and the location it was taken at. Apparently, it was taken on the middle of a roundabout in Norwich, nowhere near a river!!! And they want to charge you £53 for that. I’ll just rely on google thanks
Fabulous app that will be an absolute asset on my travels
As a landscape photographer this App has become a vital part of my research when planning trips. There are so many spots I’ve never seen before on here. It’s such a great community of like-minded photographers and travellers who want to help each other experience the world around them. So pleased I came across it!
I predominantly use Locationscout for finding great spots to create relaxation videos. The information is extremely helpful in planning a shoot. Particularly insider tips on best places to park and times of day/year etc. Highly appreciate and recommend this App.
I’ve been using this app for some time for locations all over Europe , easy to use and good variety of locations.
