LoJack

I don't understand the thought process of having service reminders when they clearly have no idea of what service the vehicle needs. It tried to get me to schedule oil changes for an electrical vehicle twice.

We bought a car about a month ago and were forced to pay for LoJack which the dealer said they install on all their cars as soon as they get them. For the last week, the location isn’t updating on real time. It’s taking at least about 5 hrs to update the last known location. If you have a choice, don’t pay for this useless service and just get an AirTag. For a product that dealers charge about $1k for, it’s not worth it.

I recently purchased my vehicle with LoJack. I’ve spoken to 2 representatives. They troubleshoot and escalated the matter. Until today they have not been able to resolve my issue. The mobile app will not locate the vehicle. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and no luck.

It is in real time and it provides you the confidence if needed to locate your vehicle whether it is stolen or misplaced.

When I park I want to set a geofence around my car. The next time I park, I want to do that again. I should be able to just click “I parked” and walk away. Instead, the user is assumed to have only 3 places they will ever park and must set that up through a map interface that doesn’t always update right away. (So you wait). If you have 3 fences already, you have to scroll around that map to find one to delete, then go back to your car’s location and set the new fence. Then do this all again every time you move the car. I wonder for whom this usage model was designed? I received a message talking about a new version with new features. Looking forward to it.

I only gave this app/subscription 3 stars because the one report I need, it doesn’t give! On the app, you can see your daily miles, which is great, but there’s no way of emailing or printing them out. I called customer service and explained how I needed my miles for the year for taxes. The woman said sure that she can help. She generated the whole year 2023 then emailed to me. I opened and it’s a bunch of information that I don’t need! No miles at all. I explained that it didn’t have in there what I needed and then she said “oh no, ma’am, we don’t have that information”🤦🏽‍♀️ It would be huge if LoJack somehow were able to send us the miles report since it records it and I can see it on the app! In the past I’ve paid for other apps to track my miles for work and since I’m paying for LoJack, I feel that option should be in there!

Can’t activate,

The email and cell phone number is not recognized by this app. The app does not tell you whether the pin expires or not. You just have to poke around and guess for yourself. When I finally did get a new pin sent to me, suddenly I was unable to set up an account due to some error on their part.

This is the best car service program that I have ever use.
