Does what I need it to do, the way I want it to do it

I bought LumaFusion a good few years ago. I loved using it then and love the free updated version now. I am using Story Blocks to create som cool new stuff I’m super happy and won’t be changing any time soon. I love iPhone video creation.

LumaFusion is excellent. I’ve used it exclusively for about 5 years and I love its functionality. My only wish is for a keyframe enabled crop function with multiple points so I can cut out a non rectangular or irregular object that is in motion. Other than that it works brilliantly on even an older iPad and comes with tonnes of features that are definitely worth the money.

I have used this App on and off for the past few years, i think its really high end in terms of features, but can be clunky to use, the UI isnt the best. The quality of the editing is great but its really falling behind some competitors of late. Example there is still no Speed ramp in Oct 2023 , seriously thats a big problem for me. Adding text is also cumbersome. This app really needs a refresh soon, or it will be swallowed up by the competition

At a time when we are maybe spoiled by competing claims for the title of best video editor (Final Cut Pro, Premiere, DaVinci Resolve and others are truly professional editors) Lumafusion goes for the simpler, more spare approach, which is not at all to say that it is not capable of fantastic things. A simple, uncluttered interface hides the power of the app to work with multiple tracks of 4K video and hi-res audio in a workflow that is streamlined and without distractions. The advantages of editing on an iPhone or iPad and then graduating to a laptor or desktop are huge, and LF is well up to publishing direct to YouTube and other platforms as well as outputting pixel-perfect 4k footage for festivals etc. And, of course, if you need to do something more technical with audio, subtitles etc, you can always export to one of the other giants in the space and make your final edits there. I'm learning resolve, have a couple of years' of experience of FCP, but I still turn always to Lumafusion to start and usually complete new projects. Sometimes the very best creative applications are the ones that encourage you to use your creative chops rather than getting bogged down in endless options. Highly recommended.

With a relatively small learning curve I found LumaFusion to be perfect for what I need from simple to use editing, audio tools and colour correction I couldn’t ask for more

Will get 5 stars once moving key frames along the timeline of a video is added….. don’t know why this isn’t already available already….

I am an amateur content creator and I’ve been working off of iMovie for three years. Its limitations finally became too much for me and I paid for LumaFusion. I simply cannot understand why it took me so long. I feel like I’ve stepped out of the dark and into the light

I absolutely love this editing tool

What more can i say; LumaFusion is by far the best software outthere to edit your movies on iPad. It’s extremely intuitive & rendering is pretty fast. Have a go & you’d be surprised what this software is capable of. Thanks to the team for an amazing product. 5/5 & would highly recommend.
