Lyft

After 10+ min of waiting on step 2, I had to conclude that business user setup doesn't work for me.

In crowded areas like airports this app is really bad. You wait for driver info forever and when it eventually is ready “a few seconds” takes many minutes or just fails. Yesterday in Houston a “7 minute” wait was actually more than one hour. Only when I choosed “Priority ride” I could get a ride”. I am not sure the app can handle “spekulation” where drivers only take the priority rides. Lyft keeps 50% of their revenue so I do not blaim them. But customers pay the price in terms of poor service.

The service works. But, here’s an honest user review. The times are over when a company can release a 100 pages (on a phone) long Terms of Service and ask you to read that and agree with it. Why don’t you write it in all CAPS now that you’re at it? 99.99% of your users are signing their name on something they don’t read. I can’t agree to that and your app will hit the trash bin.

Terrible and useless app, complete impossible to state any payment what so ever.

After downloading the app, adding my payment info and trying to book my first ride, it told me there was issues with my payment info and asked me to add a new payment method. So I added a new card only to find out, that it didn’t accept this either. Then I tried to add ‘Lyft cash’ in the app, using the exact same card that it had just declined for a ride, which somehow worked. But I couldn’t use this cash to pay for rides, since it would accept my credit card??!. This is extremely frustrating, and I guess Lyft just stole 25$ from me, since Lyft cash is not refundable. I know other people use Lyft without issues, but my experience was as close to a scam as you get!! Unacceptable.

Respect Lyft! You are awesome, love that you added pronouns and the opportunity to donate by rounding up! Love it. I have travelled with Lyft so many times and I always get treated well, in the event that I have a suboptimal ride and report it to Lyft they immediately take action! You are the best!
