MacroFactor - Macro Tracker

Without a doubt MacroFactor is the best food logging and weight management app in the field. Has a good Eu food database too and is constantly being updated. Been a longtime fan of Greg and the crew at strongerbyscience; this is easily the best they’ve done. Finally an app that makes tracking foods easy enough for me to actually keep at it

I especially love how they keep improving based on user suggestions. The app runs well, no bugs and easy to use. The algorithm seems really good.

Awesome app, been using since launch, waiting exciteldy for the Eu database in the future (Greetings from Finland). Few improvement thoughts: Ipad landscape mode, I am using 2020 ipad pro 12.9 with magic keyboard in landscape mode most of the time, so it is annoying to tilt the ipad to use or check macrofactor. Apple watch app would be cool addition in the future, you could use it to check current situation of ur daily macros and maybe quick add foods based on time of the day? Keep on improving! Already subscribed for a year so I am looking forward to all the future updates. Great app!

Choppy animations on the latest flagship iPhone are not acceptable. The app is unusable the way it is right now, regardless of functionality.

Still poor food list mostly seems focus on us so when I’m in Europe I can’t find something. I love the design of the app. Please…the form for the new year with the weight in pound no! It’s 2024 and it’s time to go ahead!

My wife & I have tried a couple of these macro counting app with varied success. In the long run they seemed a bit undeveloped. My daughter recommended MacroFactor and we are enjoying the comprehensive food database and intuitive use of features. I feel good about long term success.

I have tried so many apps for tracking macros. After using WW for a year, I realized I wanted more focused macro counting and began the search for an app that would have it all - trending, customizable, solid support and backed by science. Very lofty expectations and I found it in MacroFactor(after using My Fitness Pal, Cronometer, Healthi just to name a few)!! While it might be overwhelming at first to use the app given all the information, if you take some time to learn it will be well worth it. As you keep using the app you end up building your food library and I have many recipes now created in the app. I read the articles in the blog and as a physician was impressed with the level of detail represented. I love the integration with Apple health as that is integrated with my scale. The algorithm takes some time to get used to your intake and expenditure and becomes more accurate in over time. While I don’t love spending money on apps, this was well worth the annual fee. The trends are a nice way to see progress, the ability to track weight, body measurements, nutrition all outstanding. What I love even more are the different strategies presented when you sign up and set your goals. Truly the most flexible app I have seen with very responsive support. The Reddit page is active and helpful for guidance as well. This app is so much better and with some marketing can be the leader in the space.

Really enjoying the app, esp. the bar code tracker! Looking forward to a 2025 where I eat good for once!

This is by far the best tracking app out there. It’s like having a professional coach for only about $70 bucks per year. Not the mention the UI is pleasing and they are only working on more exciting things to come in the future. I have lost 40 lbs using this app and will continue to use it to achieve my goals. Great job to everyone who has something to do with this!

Just switched over from LifeSum and found MacroFactor was way faster at logging food. The food database is great and the UX is intuitive.
