MacroFactor - Macro Tracker

The app is good but is not worth what it costs, maybe makes sense for americans and their money printer, the rest of the world wont be paying your absurd prices

We need the app in Spanish I would really like to use it and pay for it but in English I am not going to make good use of it I am not totally fluent in the language.

1) enter your new food, everything is multiplied 10 times, because it is unclear are you entering data for one portion of for 100 g 2) update this mistake, but in day log information is not updated, so you have to delete previously logged product, and add again. 3) non-intuitive names of actions, first you press Add button, but then you have to press Log Foods button, without it your food is not added, and you have to search it again. 4) it feels like person who created the user flow is absolutely unaware of how users use their phone apps. Please hire a professional UX designer to fix this. And they are asking 12$ monthly for this! idea is great, and i respect Jeff as a fitness blogger, but this app is very unprofessional.

As a runner I wanted to keep track of my nutritional intake and before MacroFactor I’ve tried Lifesum, MyFitnessPal and Foodvisor. Some of these might look more appealing or even have a simpler way to introduce what you eat. But once you get the grasp of how the Food Log works in MF, the value you get from the insights and stats it provides takes over all the competition. Also, the fact that MF has an active community in Reddit and seems to be under continuous development makes it a no brainer! Totally recommended whatever your nutrition goals are.

Con esta app por fin he entendido cómo comer de acuerdo a mis objetivos y ver más allá de las calorías. Lo que más me gusta que se siente realmente personal a tu viaje y encima basado en n la ciencia. Estuve tres meses probando con las suscripción mensual y me he pasado a la anual porque vale cada euro.

Food database and Scanning really are poor, international code doesn’t work in database, many codes from Trader Joe’s also! The idea behind it is awesome, but with this poor food database it’s a mess! Tried a view and this is the worst! I’ll stay with MyFitnessPal

I have tried in the past several other calorie tracking apps such as mfp or cronometer, however with these I always thought something was "missing" I love graphs and stats, I love continuous changes to my diet plan if things aren't going as expected, because I want to be certain that if I track correctly and consistently, I will get the results that I desire, I want the certainty that if I put in the work, with the help of a tracking app, it'll get the job done. So the thing with these other apps is I always felt like they could do so much more, they could go into further detail or personalization, and with AI taking strides, I thought they maybe could implement some of it in their apps, however they always fell short of being great. MACRO FACTOR IS A GAME CHANGER!! To me, it's basically my coach, it starts by asking simple parameters, and gets lore intricate as you go on, and when you realize it, you're already set for success, with the app you can track a whole bunch of stats, be it body measures, or something as simple as you weight, however what makes it stand out from other apps it's the algorithm (or algorithms) that allow the app to make changes based on your weight and the parameters you entered, to make your diet as close to perfect as it can be to help your fitness goals (given that you track consistently of course) I don't usually write reviews but for the short time that i've been using the app (still on the 2 week free trial) I can confidently say that I love it, and it will be a big part of my fitness journey, thanks to the team at macro factor and fitness youtuber jeff nippard (from whom I discovered the app). In the future I would like to see in the integrations sections, compatibility for xiaomi mi band, other that that, AMAZING APP, no complaints at all, worth EVERY PENNY, if you're on the fence between this and other trackers, it really is a no brainer.

Far better than the competition. Wish they offered a one-time paid version with just the food logging part stuff and charged monthly for the algorithmic recommendations, but still paying anyway because it is so damn convenient.

Just a very well designed app with lots of useful information, easy (NOT JUDGY) food logging, and at least in my case, effective plans.
