I used Mailchimp for two years, but in the second year, they started adding additional contact fees to the order of $1000 per month without informing me or giving you the option to adjust my plan. When I tried to cancel, they gave me the runaround and tried to delay my cancellation, long enough to bill me for another month, which they successfully managed to do. This is a perfect example of a big company giving zero care or concern to their users. Their product is mediocre compared to other options, but this risk is not worth it at all

I’ve been using mail chimp for a long time and it’s been brought to my attention after asking why only 30 people open my emails that some are going to spam folders and others are not receiving my emails at all. I will not be using service anymore. Super irritating to pay money for something that isn’t working for months.

Been trying to send a basic email campaign for days. I messaged for technical support. Been a couple days. No response. On the phone now because I had a free onboarding session as a new client. Nice person, but more than an hour later and we can’t get a basic email out. My contacts are clean. Can’t get technical support to join the call. Can’t send email to even 20 people. Wasted hours setting this up. How is this company owned by Intuit and the experience this poor?

Never had this much bad experience with support agents. These guys are by far the worst. When I first got set up someone walked me through the steps to add sections on my landing page. The next day i needed help. Other support didn’t know how to work the site. They told me it was a technical issue when I know it wasn’t.. so I had to get another agent to help me..  Then I called an agent and asked how do i connect a custom domain to my landing page. She had no clue and said” honestly connecting a domain is not supposed to be here” which she was saying mail chip does not allow you to do so. I told her I’m reading what it says and it says we can.. she said that was for something els. So I got another agent to tell me how to do it. These people are untrained!

I used this service almost five years ago for a church group and it created wonderful emails. 
Now I create emails for the entire church and have found that I can do everything from the app that I could do from the desktop and both are even more efficient. 
This is a great service and I recommend giving it a try. You won’t regret it!

For a platform we’re is mainly to send emails , if you don’t have an automated way to put them in their database you will have to do it manually and if you have 1000 email to write, you will type 1,000 times Gmail.com or Hotmail.com. 
I was in shock to find out they don’t have a preset for typing emails. Unbelievable! 
Then, if you have a certain rejection # of emails, they will just delete 95% of you contacts data. 
All that work for nothing! Now you know.
