This is the best manual phone app I have found. If you want optical camera settings and not gimmicks, this is the one. 
It is nice to use with vibration feedback and works nicely to switch between 28mm and 56mm on a new iPhone. I appreciate that that the app has been updated regularly since getting it on an older phone.
For me it helps me understand the hardware on the phone better through being able to change the camera settings easily.

### ****- "Upgraded ios and then had to buy again??"
I noticed the app wasn’t saving images to photos. 

Came here and it was showing the regular “open” button (no download or update it seemed)

Tried to comment and the store says no, i need to own the app. But i do!

Ok... lets try forcing a reload by deleting off the phone. Now it won’t re download without buying again. 

Its a nice app so it did.  But odd behaviour in not recognising updates or earlier purchases. 

Still, i do like the app.

The range of controls available is good, but the awkward positioning of the ISO and shutter sliders means you often run out of screen before you reach the setting you want, meaning having to repeat scroll.

The most frustrating thing is that volume button shutter release doesn’t work - I’ve missed a couple of moments because I’ve forgot this :(

Manual is the first camera app I've used that gives me the control I want over exposure. Now I can use my iPhone 7 Plus in conjunction with a grey card and incident light meter. Being able to shoot RAW means I don't have to worry about JPEG compression, reduced dynamic range, sharpening or white balance until I'm done editing.

I'm sure there'll be some shortcomings I've yet to find but from my limited testing this app is nearly perfect for my day to day photography needs.

In a keen photographer, and although I'm always looking for better things, the camera app I always come back to is Procamera - in my opinion it can't be beaten. This app allows tweaking of ISO/shutter speed and captures RAW/DNG, but above and beyond that there is very little to recommend. It's a shame because at this price point I was expecting a bit more...
