Map My Walk: Walking Tracker

Had this app a while now and love it for walks, brilliant app never fails x

Whats the point of the app if i cant even make an account because of their server errors and all the features are locked behind an account

It started out great, I like to see the area I’ve covered plus the steps I’ve done. In the last week ‘map my walk’ has not registered the whole walk. I find this frustrating as I try to push myself each time I walk which I can the diarise to keep check if my fitness level and well being. If it doesn’t improve I’ll just delete it.

Keeps turning itself off so data isn’t accurate. Wont be paying for it

It’s perfect for me at 62, keeps me on pace 😁

I have a medical condition but like to walk off piste with my dog. This gives everyone peace of mind. Also great to build up gradually for distance.

Would like to be able to change settings to yards, etc, not limited to miles and kilometres. Otherwise an OK app.

You have no choice but to opt in to share your personal sensitive data with the App developers to use the App, which breaches UK and EU law. Then you have no choice but to opt into sharing this data to other countries that don’t give the same protections. The company would also have no lawful basis as it is not needed to process this data to use the App. Massive thumbs down from me.

Love using Map My Walk. Logs into my other apps lets me know distance I’ve walked calories I’ve burnt. Love the yearly challenge and one thing for sure is “you make sure you get your steps in” one happy customer of this app.
