Changed to Apple Maps which are now perfected. Ads on this app increased so much app is unusable to me now. 

Original review:  One of the reasons I got the iPhone. My first app, and after using over 100 is still my favorite. Near perfect app and free?!  Have used for 24-hour trips to walking directions in the city. Overall, use it almost every day.  Absolutely a must have ... Can't say enough good things!

Easy to use. I was able to find stores closest to our vacation spot. I can look at the map view, but I live the lit's view so I have a clear idea of the route in advance. Mapquest has always been my go-to app.

I use mapquest.com to plan routes sometimes I figured it would be easier with the app so I put in only 15 locations and hit drive and it  and it didn’t work and deleted all the locations I put in. I don’t have time to troubleshoot this. I’ll just figure it out on Google.

The app was great but then they decided to cram commercials down your throat on all phones. Ads at the bottom of the screen, unfreeze it from an ad to use it, try to make you watch an ad before you can get your directions. The only thing going for it is it’s the best one for satellite.

I have a road that has not been named on this map. So twice now, a very long time ago I sent all the information needed to verify the name of the road. That was county maps County renamed roads, All that would verify the name of the road. All that I got back was a computer Response saying thank you and we’ll get back to you, but they never did.

I downloaded this purely out of curiosity and nostalgia, but ended up being happily surprised with the ease of use and the functionality that the MapQuest app provides. Obviously, this app isn’t as refined as Apple Maps, Google Maps, or Waze but I would argue that this app can hold its own against all three of those without much issue. I also like the layers functionality where you can pick and choose different location types to add to your map to make them viewable. All in all I would definitely recommend this app to anyone thinking about trying it out, but keep in mind what I mentioned earlier about it not being as refined, don’t expect a MapQuest themed Google Maps app - that’s definitely not what this is, it’s its own thing and IMO it’s pretty neat!
