Maps of the East Indies, made by Seutter in 1720; The map of Siam and the Malay archipelago, published by The Times Atlas-Printing House Square in London (UK) in 1896, affirms that the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos belong to Vietnamese sovereignty.
