An amazing app and pocket library!

No lies here, it was worth the year subscription, I have been reading comics for months with it, I like that you have guides to carry you when you don’t know where to start. I’m giving 4 stars tho because even with the smart panel on, sometimes it’s hard to read the bubble speech if you are on your phone, a pity you cannot zoom in to read better tho

I have loads of purchase comics I can not access , even when I click the former app indicator to retrieve my purchased comics.

Great content, awful app

The content is worth unlimited stars. However, the new app sucks. - no more browsing through all Marvel titles alphabetically. This let me discover so many series and one-shots… - no more seeing what issues were added each month - no more galleries,of all the available issues of a comic run Instead, you are ‘forced’ to access the content in a far more curated, corporate-driven style. Meaning the hidden treasured will remain hidden even more. Sure, it’s ‘pretty’. But it is very limiting and user-unfriendly compared to the previous version. Bring back the missing features and I’ll give new rating. But for now, a huge disappointment.

Great idea, mediocre execution

The app is getting better, slowly, but the UX is still clunky and there’s more bugs than you would expect from an app by a huge company like marvel. It’s hard to keep track of what you’re reading, the browsing functions are limited, and it seems like the backend database is full of mistakes too.

I’ m back to giving 4 stars... since last time, I dreaded installing a new version for reasons cited below. The support team still isn’t big on communicating, but it looks as if version 3.8 is a big improvement after some short testing. Offline now works offline as expected and the app seems faster than before to me. For all Marvel comic lovers, this app is a must have. Just hope they don’t break stuff in the future with the inevitable updates. _____ With every new version, regression bugs are introduced. That means that things that were working fine before, don’t anymore. In this latest version, the read offline is broken, and that’s a HUGE one. Support for the app is apparently very hard to persuade that something is wrong. I love reading the comics, but this app is worse that Windows in the days of Win 95. Time to grow up, Marvel, and give your paying customers a working app.
