I rarely do reviews, but here I have to say two or three words! Also, because the existing written reviews do not give enough justice to the app. I am very happy that I stumbled upon this app while searching for a solution that my scrobbles to last.fm get more consistent … And yes, they do! Absolutely no fail with Marvis like with other apps that do the scrobbeling task to last.fm … I check it now since 14 days every day (more than 1400 scrobbels), everything gets scrobbled right, nothing is missed! But wait, Marvis is not only a scrobbeling app, it is the perfect (most beautiful) music listening app for iPhone and Apple Music there is!!! It is made with love into every detail! It is just working beautifully … AND it is worth every cent of the 10 bucks I spent for Marvis! And naturally it is worth also every cent of the additional 7 bucks I paid for the additional last.fm scrobbeling possibilities!!! I here have to mention, that simple scrobbeling last.fm is already included in the basic app for the 10 bucks … I would like to say a big thanks to the developer for that excellent music app 💙 Marvis has my highest recommendation to buy, I would be astonished if you are disappointed … 😊

Good but now the app only plays music previews like I didn’t have an Apple Music subscription! Fix that pls :) Edit: I reinstalled the app and it works. I lost all my in app settings tho :( It would be so cool to save these in iCloud!

Very very good app. Juste 1 big bug : the app icon in the iPadOS dock is smaller than others 🤣

I am facing startup issues with SE and iOS 14.5 - not cool for a paid app - please fix that to make it almost perfect.

Buyer beware - If you don’t like this app, your refund requests will be declined as the app is not eligible for a refund. I know this because I used this app for about 20 minutes and after deciding it wasn’t for me, couldn’t get my money back. It would be great if the developer could offer a way to download the app for me and try it out for 24-48 hours before committing to the $10. This would be a far more consumer friendly approach. EDIT: Updating my review to three stars after the developer’s response. It would be nice if Apple gave additional information on why it wasn’t eligible for me.

I’ve used this app for a couple years now but finally felt like writing something. Frankly, I can’t think of a negative thing about it. It has *everything* I wanted in a music player: - top-level sorting by song, album, artist, genre, etc, which can be modified as desired - simple and clean interface that’s easy to navigate and aesthetically pleasing - Last.fm integration for tracking my listens/scrobbles - customizable gestures to swipe easily between screens - customizable shortcuts to move between the current playing song and the corresponding album or artist (or whatever else you can think of!) It even has things I didn’t know I’d want, like smart categories that you can add to the “home screen” of the app—for example, a playlist that highlights songs you used to listen to a lot but haven’t in a while (which has been VERY fun for me). And the UI customization is great. I had a lot of fun tweaking the opacity, If you’re annoyed by Apple’s music app completely abandoning a design focused on your saved music (and the incessant pressure to join Apple Music), definitely give this app a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

Incredible app, super customizable, allows music to display in landscape mode (aka standby mode) and app feels/plays like Apple MUSIC but far more advanced. Highly recommend for the music lover looking to personalize the way content/tracks and music are displayed.

All that this app would need is the ability to add shortcuts via the shortcut app. I have playlists set up for different times of days and different weather combinations, but I have to activate them manually and would like to automate.

If you listen to a lot of music and want to be able to customize your listening experience to reflect current and past listening habits and MUCH more, buy the app. Love it. Will not recommend to anyone I know.

Fine app, but overall just doesn’t look as good as Apple Music. Missing features like animated covers in a no go for me. Bummed I spent $10 on this
