The app requires to pay in order to chat with match people, the free version simply just a bait to get your info. The one who matched to me turned out is a bot! After few round of chatting, my account was blocked and unable to recover using forgot password. This is totally waste of money and time to invest using this app. Would not recommend to anyone

I want change location and want match farther. Can I? I don’t want make people in nearby

I don’t understand why I changed my location but it never actually worked although it showed the updated location on my profile

You get “matches” shortly after joining to get you to purchase a plan. Which end up being bogus profiles. I signed up for the silver plan which includes unlimited profile views. When I went to search via miles, it only showed me six profiles. I contacted customer service and they told me I would have to upgrade to platinum to see all of them. I then ask for a refund and heard nothing back.

I used Match in 2023 for a few months. I didn’t find any love connections, but that’s alright. It happens. I decided to try it again just this week. I made a profile, filled in my info and uploaded some photos. You know, did all the basics to get started, including taking their quiz. Everything was fine at first. I scrolled through some potential matches and was feeling hopeful! Later the same day, however, I logged in again only to find that I’d been blocked! I was very confused. So, I reached out to their customer service and reported the issue, figuring maybe it was some kind of technical glitch. I was then asked to fill out a form to appeal my being blocked. I filled out the form and was honest in saying that I didn’t know why I’d been blocked, I’m a real person who is trying to find love and I even included that I’d previously used Match. Their auto response says they respond usually within 24-48 hours. It’s been a couple of days so I emailed the customer service to ask for an update. The response I received was so rude!! They implied I didn’t follow instructions (when I in fact did) and said they considered the matter closed and would no longer respond to any communication from me. OMG!! That’a just awful. I requested a refund from Apple and canceled my account.

Unless you pay the free version is impossible to use.
