I originally bought this expensive laser measurer as it had unique (and free) features. I now see they have a very expensive subscription service in order to export. Very frustrating, now looking at a cheaper alternative.

Since an expensive subscription model has been introduced (last couple of months) I now have to pay £8.99 per month just to export my drawings even though I brought an expensive laser measure just for this purpose. The app doesn’t even sync between my iPad and iPhone. This is a very poor upgrade. Thanks for your response, but the features that were originally free, PDF Export and Logo were what influenced my (and probably others) decision to purchase a very expensive laser measure and these should remain free, sync between or at the very least save to iCloud or some other Cloud storage should also be included free, by all means I agree CAD export would be a premium feature and maybe anything new you develop but please reinstate a usable app. There are many other apps that are more developed and useable for less money and I have found that some of those even connect the laser measure!

So since my last review that was incredibly positive. I've now attempted to export a project to find out I'm now greeted with a message noting that I'll need to pay £8.99 a month to use this feature. Rather annoyed as this is why I purchased this laser over Leica's offering, because it came with a free app. Really disappointed by this questionable marketing practice. The app was somewhat sub standard, but forgivable as it was free. Now to ask for £8.99 a month for an app that is still somewhat unusable at times and lock everyone's existing project behind a paywall is pretty bad. It's now made my laser tape that wasn't cheap to purchase as useful as a £20 offering from any online store. After this I won't be buying any Bosch products again. Very disappointed.

I cannot understand why Bosch is not opening their app to other developers like Leica or Stabila are doing? I need to be able to use the laser measuring device with sketch-up, autocad and other iPhone apps that are more suitable for my needs!!! Now I’m considering returning this as I’m stuck on a basic app with non option to properly export unless I want to manually add it… Please sort this out until then it can not deserve more than 1 star.

Great app. Works well even without a Bosch GLM measuring laser tool. Although I have recently purchased one just haven't had the chance to unbox it. The one thing Im puzzled with, is how one would draw up a room plan where a set of stairs are available for an upstairs/downstairs level. Perhaps in a future update they could be included under the windows and doors option.

This is great app for my Bosch laser measure, it just lacks in floor plans the ability to add doors, windows and stairs to the room, I would like to see it added including measurements for steps (tread and risers for if your measuring up for flooring like I’ve recently used it for.

I’m currently using the PLR 30 C when surveying properties. The app works quite well, but it could do with some additions/ improvements. All in all it’s a great tool to have. I’d like to request the below if possible: - When a wall dimension is drawn at less than 1m in length. A door can’t be added. It would be useful for the app to ask for the door opening dimension, when the icon is clicked on to avoid this issue. - when a door is drawn, a pop up prompt to ask if you would like to also measure the wall dimensions either side of the opening to avoid repeated steps. - Addition of lift doors as an alternative to a standard door. - double doors as an alternative to a standard single door. - basic furniture, eg: bed/ side table and the ability to select dimensions of the furniture. - basic switches and sockets locations and pendant light fitting locations. - Ability to export in a .DWG format to use in autocad. - better control over line creation/ editing in the sketch mode. It can be a pain to edit a line after the fact. - A basic drawing of a staircase, where you can select the opening dimension and a staircase is drawn with an intermediate landing between floors.

Good app, functions well with Bosch PLR-50, unfortunately though it currently crashes when generating a PDF (iPhone 12 mini).
