The idea is brilliant, particularly for the reminder for when to re-order stock, but, if like me you need to add more than 2 medications which I do for epilepsy and cancer prevention then you have to pay. Disappointing as could have been a game changer for me 😞
This app used to be totally free and was a life saver. Now they’ve gone and made it that you need a subscription.
It’s really great that the medication reminders can be set so that the app is relentless in asking you to confirm that you have in fact taken them. What I can’t quite fathom is the symptom tracker, the free version doesn’t include seizures as a symptom or even recognise the work epilepsy. Baffling for a condition that affects 50 million people worldwide and often the first thing sufferers are asked to do is track their symptoms.
This app works well and I’ve been using it for months. However, as a 2024 Christmas present, I will now have to pay £50/year if I want to track more than 2 medications. So I’m going to switch to the free feature in Apple Health.
Apple health or something else?
I have been using this app for years, it has quite literally saved my life as my family were able to check the app and saw that I had made a mistake with one of my meds and was taking too much. Without this app we probably wouldn’t have been able to figure it out. It’s also been used by paramedics, I wasn’t able to tell them what medication I take but was able to give them the app on my phone and they were able to get the information they needed. Being ill is already challenging and expensive and now this app changing to a subscription is very disappointing, if it was £1 a month you would likely raise more income because more people would be able to afford the £1, instead loads of people are going to delete the app and go elsewhere and you won’t get anything then. Please reconsider this decision!
Been using app for 10 years and suddenly forced to pay a subscription of more than two meds save. Had to delete meds to maintain free service. A bit of a con and will be looking for an alternative.
Used for many years but update says it will now be subscription, so deleted app
Waste of time
There appears to be an intermittent bug / defect that when you set the time that you took the medication it sometimes defaults to the scheduled time. Once when I took the medication 1 hour 30 minutes late and logged this, it actually only logged 1 honour and left off the 30 minutes. Obviously this can be critical if there is a minimum time between taking medication.
