Medium: Read & Write Stories

I am thinking it to be the future. I guess it will the the ish thing.

A place to write and say whatever I would say out loud if I had a place to say it. In some ways this is even better

Medium has really the best content out there.

I love how people can write articles about anything and allow you to read it. Simply amazing how the articles find me.

I love the story writing platform of medium as such an easy way to share my thoughts and ideas to an unknown audience. I have also loved learning from and reading the various medium articles over the years.

I had so many gripes with the earlier versions, but the developers listen and is now worthy of 5 stars in my opinion. Very slick, a pleasure to use and read everyday.

Downloadable content!! Finally! Can save and read my archived or listed articles on a flight, in the mountains where there is spotty signal. Whilst I am leaving a review, the content creators (wide spectrum) of solidly curated content are also great, it’s the only platform I’ve gladly paid a subscription fee to for literally years. Thanks to the devs for listening to the feedback and updating the app.

I’ve literally just downloaded the app and it honestly feels like home, great content, writers, storytellers and hacks ALL IN ONE! I’m blown away! And also ready to start writing💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾

At every possible step you force users to use this pointless app, yet things just don’t work. I am required to use the app to comment on a post, yet when tapping on your button “Open in app” all it does is open the stupid app and NOT the article. Like really now, if your going to force users to install spyware at least implement the deep link handlers so that the spyware actually works as forced.

I love Medium but I’m afraid it seems to work better on web than the app. I find the app frustrating for blogging. It works for reading not so much writing. I can no longer type to add tags on a new post. It gives me a list of tags to choose from with no option to type in a new tag which is frustrating cos the list is short. We should have the option to type out our tags. As a result when I write on my phone I still need to go on my computer to add tags. Defeats the whole purpose. Then try adding pics to your post. The app is just frustrating. Surely it can be improved to make writing on it a simpler process just like it is on web.
