With Metropolis, paying for parking is as easy as driving in and driving out. Just open the app and sign up by adding your license plate and payment method.

JUST DRIVE IN AND PARK
Just drive in to any Metropolis location to start your visit. You'll receive a notification that you've arrived.

TRANSPARENT PRICING
With Metropolis, parking rates and price estimates are available before you park. Once your visit starts, you can extend your stay or change your payment method remotely.

JUST DRIVE OUT TO PAY
When you've finished parking, just drive out to pay automatically. We'll send you a receipt after every visit, and you can access your complete parking history at any time.

FIND FREE OR DISCOUNTED PARKING
Look for a Metropolis sign at participating retailers near your parking location. From your visit page, simply scan the QR code to apply the discount. You'll see your parking price adjust right away in the app.

EASY TO NAVIGATE
You can use Metropolis when traveling and renting a car. Just add the rental to your account, assign an end date, and we'll automatically remove it when you're done.

Arrive after a long flight, can’t enter garage. Check the app and it says the car left the garage yesterday. Did it get stolen? No because when I hit the button on my key I can hear the car lock beep. But I can’t enter the garage. Because the system thinks my car isn’t there I suppose?

So a terrible product with terrible technology. Easily resolved by calling their support line? No, because their support is garbage too and apparently follows the same work schedule as a small town government employee who’s getting ready for retirement.

By far this was the simplest experience, as a first time Parker with the app. Setup was integrated with the first visit, fantastic. Added security in the parking ramp, the app will open secured areas so you have a better sense of safety if it is necessary. Checking out was as simple as driving away. 
Maybe the user fee on top of the parking fee was a bit high.

Hardest part to this was scanning functionality under the garage.  When I got better WiFi inside the airport, I never stopped to close the app because I was curious to check the tracking.  I was impressed that I could always see what I owed and how long I was parked!  All apps should be THIS easy!!

These people are crooks and their app is terrible. It might look like a modern consumer tech experience, but behind the scenes they use dark patterns to make money off unsuspecting people.

You simply drive in and drive out, but they don’t alert you when there’s surge pricing happening. I normally paid $11 for parking in a local garage. Then on a random Thursday night, I get charged $63! This was not posted outside the garage. I did not get a text message letting me know when I drove in. And why would they? I would’ve left and they wouldn’t have gotten their money. When I contacted customer service I was met with flippant denial, no meeting in the middle. The rep even acknowledged that it was a terrible experience.

I think it’s borderline criminal. If anybody wants to file a class action lawsuit, please look me up. I’m happy to participate.

Double charge for my parking session. I parked from 9am to 10am and paid. They sent me an additional bill for 9am to 6pm. 
I contacted customer service to resolve this. No one responded to my TWO emails.

I don’t remember saving my card details but somehow they marked the rental car I parked one time as my car. 3 months later, I get a text that I am parked in one of their garages and that it would automatically be charged to my card. The support is useless. So remember to not save your payment specially if you are parking rental cars in their garages

We use the app for garage parking in NYC. It’s great when we make the requests, BUT the app REALLY needs a cancel option when a user accidentally presses “request now.” There’s no phone number to call and no way to change the option to “request later.”

Forced to use this app to go to my gym. I have to download it. Give them access to all of my contact info and store my payment info. Then my gym will validate my parking in this app. Ridiculous. I’m basically forced to give a company that I have no use for all my personal info. Feels pretty crooked. If I find out you guys sell info on top of it I’m going to be livid.

At HCA Mercy hospital garage in Miami, I see long lines to exit because this app doesn’t raise the exit gate for many of us.

Today myAmEx was charged $5.99 thru the app upon entering and later, when the exit gate wouldn’t lift for several of us, I gave in and paid $5.99 a second time via Apple Pay to finally get the exit gate to lift.

What is wrong with HCA Mercy hospital for using this awful app?

Parked my car long term on 12/1/24 and on 12/4/24 I'm told I have 72 hours to move it. That in itself is bad enough but I'm also 5400 miles away dealing with a bereavement.
Just beware, as I'd wish I had done more research on this company. 
Look for yourself and you'll see many complaints about them online.

App works seamlessly after scanning QR code and set up account. Would like to see more discounts or discount codes given out. Been using for months in downtown Seattle and haven’t received not a one discount. Had two days where I forgot to log into the app and pay and ended up with a pretty hefty fee. Those are kind of ridiculous for this parking,my bad though ,I just would like to see a few discounts a little money given back instead of them always taking.
