Microsoft Authenticator

Jeg har fået ny telefon, og forsøger at logge ind på min nye, og den viser en kode jeg skal indtaste i appen, men giver mig ikke mulighed for at skrive koden nogle steder. Det er vildt dumt at man ikke kan sætte det op på en ny telefon

Det kan simpelthen ikke passe at en app, der er så vigtig, skal være så besværlig at bruge!!! Ringe design og et endeløst loop af “du skal logge ind for at kunne logge ind”. Der er plads til så meget mere forbedring som kunne spare it-afdelinger verden over for en masse bøvl!!! Har lige fået ny mobil og det er næsten umuligt at få rykket mit organisation og min eksterne organisation over fra den gamle til den nye!! Det burde ikke være så svært……

When I try to login with my school account the app gives me a 2 digit code that I need to open my Microsoft Authenticator app to approve. An app which I am trying to login to. Really???

The app worked fine until I needed to use it for 2-step verification. When I opened it, all my codes were gone, and I was logged out. This left me locked out of my accounts, and now I have to contact support just to regain access. Very bad.

When you get a new phone you will assume that everything is transferred and working properly as it was on the old phone - but NO - something has been transferred but not all and its impossible to figure out what has and has not been transferred. Whenever I need to update a password on my new phone I have to confirm the code/number on my old phone…. Doesn’t make any sense at all!

Når man er tvunget til at bruge noget flere gange dagligt så skal det være let at bruge. Her fejler appen. Savner funktiin hvor man kan godkende på apple watch. Desuden nulstilles notificering tal ikke når man åbner app så ofre har jeg en notificering om jeg mangler at godkende en forespørgsel.

As a university student, I rely heavily on apps like Microsoft Teams and Outlook, but I’ve encountered serious usability issues on mobile devices. Specifically, when trying to log in on the same phone that I use to authenticate, the process becomes impossible. The apps prompt for the Microsoft Authenticator, but when the Authenticator app opens, it displays a two-digit code with no clear instructions on what to do next. Going back to Teams or Outlook results in login failures, making them effectively unusable. Without access to these apps, I cannot manage my work or notifications from my phone, which has caused significant disruptions. Teams lacks a version for iOS Chrome, and Outlook seems to require a complete page refresh every time I want to check emails. Uninstalling and reinstalling didn’t help, and I’ve lost out on important communications—costing me time and money. This experience has strongly discouraged me from considering Microsoft’s suite of products for future use. The usability issues are amateurish and reflect poorly on the service overall.

Title says it all: crazy big app for so little functionality !!
