Microsoft Authenticator

Unless I open the app and let it load first for over a minute or even two, the password fills in as blank on websites. It’s incredibly slow. Syncing is basically manual. Requires me to go in and let everything load over 60 seconds or so before I can get it to fill in a password. Usernames always work at least…. If I try to update a password with the edit button, it says the password already exists for that website.

This needs the ability to scan passkey QR codes from in the app so I don’t have to keep switching my password manager back and forth between the one I use and this stupid thing.

Doesnt even show you the code only works barely for my phone. Trash app, bill gates has a micro penis

The support has been disabled. :( Approval on iOS should be one tap (like Okta), not "one tap, enter code, another tap". :(

Start on work account, on phone ask qr on computer gives 2 symbols, Microsoft, your are genius

Trying to login to my school account on the authenticator and it proceed to ask for an approval but I never receive the request??? It’s an infinite stupid loop!

This app is absolutely awful. If you’re like me and have a school email that can only be accessed through two step verification in this app, then just know that any issues you have, you can do absolutely nothing about and neither can Microsoft. I got a new phone because my last phone was shattered and when trying to log in to the Authenticator app, it will request you type the code provided… by the Authenticator app that you are not yet logged into. To turn off two step verification, contact help for your specific email, or access your email in general you have to already be logged in. I’m sure it’s partially my schools fault for having absolutely no other options to log in and fix this mess but I literally threw my phone out of frustration because of the stupidity of my phone asking me for a code I could not access no matter what I tried.

I can’t remember the last time I made a review about anything but this seriously has my brain broken. I may be lazy and I may suffer from major ADHD so the thought of downloading just one more thing is seriously so bleeping annoying. I don’t understand how I can link bank accounts with just a texted verification code. But so I can link my school email I have to download two new apps and that’s already adding to the 3 other apps I have to have so I can be connected to the school. It seams a little much.🤷🏽‍♀️ And for who will read this, and think it’s a little much…yes I do indeed see the irony.

I got a new phone and transferred everything over to my new phone from my old one. When I tried to sign in to something and was prompted to approve a sign in but no numbers came up on my app. I have tried everything, I have called microsoft and nothing has worked. This is so stupid and it makes me very angry. I need to be able to use this authenticator for my school.

I am totally confused trying to use this app. Instructions I find don’t match what I am seeing. Incredibly frustrating
