The generated codes not working for two apps now, one for LinkedIn which is handy to force collection of Photo ID. Gestapo in action. Disgusted by both Microsoft and LinkedIn and their ID and data collection. Hell awaits you.

A terrible system that is uncommonly difficult to get sorted.

This app belongs in the 7th ring of hell. If you get a new phone, just get a new identity cause you’re never getting back in.

Barely works and often requires 2 Face ID checks. Often it will decline even when the correct number is used

Keeps repeating the authentication process and denying entry for my work computer. Google authenticator seems to work fine

After restoring my iphone, I needed to login on my social media platform like Facebook. Unfortunately after I login into my microsoft authenticator account, THERE WAS NO BACK UP AT ALL!!!! So I lost all my accounts passwords just because of trusting this stupid apps! Time to move to Google, shame on you MICROSOFT. OUTRAGEOUS!

Have been trying to log in for half an hour and the amount of apps and authentication you need is unnecessary. Gives me a number to sign in and no-where to enter it on the app, just confusing

You have to admit Free Email is an incredible thing. However, I use a VPN and spend my entire life getting messages that I can’t log into my Hotmail account. It then takes at least 20 minutes to get that sorted with my alternative email address. The authenticator option never works when I change phones so I have no choice but to get another email address. That’s all an unnecessary complication. Why can’t I opt for a text message? and then to cap it all I still get a load of Spam?.

The backup is in iCloud, impossible to migrate across platforms. What were they thinking? Should someone tell the developers there's something called OneDrive?!

What a terrible world we live in now. When are the smart tech guys gonna sort out security? Change your phone, add an account, log in on a different device and the app can not handle it. “Open your Authenticator app” I am in my Authenticator app right now. “Enter this code on your Authenticator app” How can I do that when you won’t let me close the page? It’s infuriating and awful. So much wasted professional time.
