Microsoft Authenticator

Having problem with the authentication prompt. I don’t received the notification on the app. I deleted it and re installed. It asked for the Microsoft authentication app prompt, show me the number because I deleted the app I don’t have the selection for it.

Would make life much easier thanks

I have been having issues logging into my work outlook account. It just suddenly stopped working. I add account and am asked for authenticator code. However, I am already inside authenticator and it just doesn’t allow me to accept or add code. When I click to ask for other ways to verify, it still sends me back to authenticator. Reason why I asked for alternative ways is because authenticator doesn’t work! Now I’m stuck and cannot access outlook emails from my phone. The authenticator causes more problems and inconveniences rather than protect me and my accounts!

The process of authentication is fine and simple by itself. But it was a huge pain when I had to change phone. I had to use my old phone because my main phone needed repair. Was able to switch the authentication app the first time to the old phone to login my school portal. When i got my main phone repaired, I had already wipe and reset my old phone, yet my authentication was through my old phone which I could not retrieve. It was asking for a code on the app of my main phone when I was already using the app… Only wanted to submit assignments and now I can’t login because this authentication relies too much on second device. My simple suggestion would be to have a 2nd keyed in password code only if a new device has logged in the account. It’s really a hassle to open an app on my phone every single time I login my school portal… which i do very often

I just changed a new phone and I need to log into my Microsoft account on this app in order to use thr authenticator. And guess what, I need to key in the number on authenticator to verify my log in. Greatest app ever, I love Microsoft
