Really happy to discover that Excel for iPad can now handle the creation of Pivot Tables since January 2024 (before that, only read and refresh, not create). This has been a real handicap, but with this now added, Excel is starting to be very usable on an iPad. Still not a full replacement of the desktop app, but getting closer. After Pivots, next point on my wishlist: on my desktop app I created an Excel with Names (named ranges) using emojis in the Range Name itself (to make the Named Range human language agnostic, as I work in a multilingual environment). This works well on the desktop app, but on iPad Excel, Names (named ranges) using emojis are not recognized and the Excel does not open. Even though emojis are Unicode compliant, they cannot be managed in Names by Excel on iPad. Could this feature be added to the iPad version? Thank you.
