## Microsoft Planner Description
Microsoft Planner requires an eligible Office 365 work or school subscription.  This app does not support Office 365 personal accounts (for example: name@outlook.com or name@hotmail.com).  If you are not sure about your company’s subscription or the services you have access to, please contact your IT department.

Planner provides a simple, visual way to organize teamwork. Planner makes it easy for your team to create new plans, organize and assign tasks, share files, chat about what you’re working on, and get updates on progress.

Each plan has its own board, where you can organize tasks into buckets. You can categorize tasks based on their status or on whom they’re assigned to. To update the status or change assignments, just drag and drop tasks between columns.

-- Visibility --
The My Tasks view provides a comprehensive list of all your tasks and their status across all your plans. When working together on a plan, team members always know who is working on what.

-- Collaborate --
Built for Office 365, Planner lets you work together on the same tasks, attach captured photos directly to them, and even have conversations around tasks without switching between apps. With Planner, all your team’s discussions and deliverables stay with the plan and don’t get locked away across disparate applications.

The Microsoft Planner app will request permission to access your photos and your camera: When you try to attach a photo to a Planner task, the app requests permission to access your Photos app in order to select images. If you choose to take a photo to attach to a Planner task, the app will request permission to access your Camera app.

Det er alt for risikabelt at bruge denne app, da der ikke er nogen unddi knap eller milighed for at går ud af et fælt med æbdringer uden at de bliver gemt. derved kan man risikere at miste uvurderlige informationer om end projektplan, status, dokumenter mv som aldrig kan genskabes og det der kan kan tage måske hundredevis af timer. Det samme problem findes i Microsoft To-Do. Utroligt at MS tilfører en så enkel og samtidugg vildt vigtig funktionalitet, når der er tale om så fundamentalt vigtige data.

I’ve previously used Trello for organizing team tasks. We now got the 360 package and Planner looked nice. Unfortunately the function “comment” doesn’t work. The message is not saved and I get an error by email. This has been so for nearly 6 months now. IT support tells me that it’s a general issue and that Microsoft can’t fix it 🤔

After having removed the app I randomly started getting about 10-20 notifications every hour with the message “Microsoft planner is no longer assigned to you”. I tried re-installing the app and stopping all notifications but this did not solve the issue - how can I make this stop??!

The app is a help, but it lacks important stuff:

Condensed view with more information in one window (reducing need of clicks and popup/popdown)

When updating in the app, the task assignees do not all update correctly - some do update, while other do not or worse become a weird mix of new and previous assignees. No amount of refreshing changes this. Logging out and back in sometimes solve it - until next update...

Issues with user list not updating in the app appear to be fixed, but as with this error there problem above do not occur when using the Teams app to access the tasks. It's always correct.

Presently the app is useless because the data shown cannot be trusted. We are using the tasks to track duty assignees.

I have attended so many ‘here is how to manage your time and emails in outlook’ courses, but ‘tasking’ via outlook never worked for me. Planner gives me the overview I have been looking for - I own the task 100% when I call it something relevant (suppose to a random name from an email headline), I can list items included in the task as a reminder for
myself and a great way to track some progress. Additionally when working in a team it is easy to share where you are in a process/task.

- Men at man ikke kan søge overall i buckets lister osv er ufatteligt? 
Som trello og monday fan er det en betydeligt mangel. Måske jeg går retur til trello af denne ene årsag. 
Håber dog på udvikling og opdatering.
