Worse than Skype ever was
I feel like I was forced to switch to Teams because Skype was dropped, and now to have a call longer than 60 minutes, i have to pay for a subscription? That is appaling! Skype had no such limitation, therefore it feels like quality of Teams app is severely downgraded compared to Skype (or other competitor apps). moreover, emoticon design isn't great, Skype's was better. GIFs are there but it only shows around ten of them at a time, while other apps and Skype show many more to choose from when i search. There are no more stickers in Teams. One HUGE PROBLEM with Teams that I can't see any more "Contacts" that were in Skype app - even Teams promised a seamless (or so it seemed) migration from Skype, there are no Skype contacts to be found, only device's contacts, which, of course, are different. There is no Contacts tab. Instead, there are useless to me, as a Skype user, tabs of "community" and "calendar". I'd rather have a contacts tab back. What a disappointment. My friends, myfamily and i will be looking for another alternative to Skype, because Teams isn't great. (Teams doesn't even have a "reply" option in the long-held message pop up menu! --this got fixed) the other party is sending me some images with cats on them, and all chat shows is text saying "Image" - where's the image? where are settings for this? nothing works in Teams app! and you expect me to pay for a subscription to have unlimited internet calls between two users, where on Skype that wax free. Teams lacks so many features that Skype had, and now this with not receiving images. Very disappointing experience. not subscribing for a lesser product. Now my call history is not reflected in the chat. Just had a call yesterday, can't see it in chat's history like it used to be in skype - no duration of the call, not even a fact that a call was made. also, every message in skype used to have timestamps - where are timestamps in Teams on every message? there's only barely one timestamp at the beginning of the conversation.... it's a terribly inferior product. now, no longer can save photos that a person sends me to a chat? is Teams getting worse? and where is the (hungrycat) emoji with some other great emojis that Skype had?
