Python, JavaScript, HTML: Mimo

I bought the max subscription and it appeared on the phone but not on the website, using the same account! And the lied about 7 days trial period, they charge you right away! I purchased the max subscription to use the website functions and I did it through the iPhone because the process seemed faster. After logging in in the website with my Apple account, it was impossible to get to the Max content. Also they mentioned there’s a 7 days trial period, but it’s not true because you get charged right away. It gives you a headache because now I need to request the refund and Mimo doesn’t have an accessible customer support.

I am really dissatisfied because when I bought this plan I could use it in Hungarian language but after the last update there is no option to change the language and I should use in english. I am still learning english but it is impossible to learn programming in english if i don’t understand the task…

I subscribed to the pro version because I thought it would unlock all lessons. There is plenty I could still learn from the app but I didn’t want to suffer through basic lectures. The app said subscribe to unlock all lectures, and I did. I paid almost 100€ for ~45 days of use, because there is ONLY a yearly plan - real predatory pricing - and now I’m stuck with that. The lectures were NOT unlocked, I just got infinite hearts (a nice pay-to-win scheme). I still needed to start suffering through HTML markup stuff if I wanted to learn some React.js. I felt cheated but I continued. As I went on, I encountered several errors in the solutions where the wrong answer was accepted. Other times identically looking solutions were not accepted, I had to guess which instance of the same word went where in the solution. Note to devs: I flagged these exercises. The app looks like a bit haphazard tool to funnel people into buying the similarly very heavily priced Mimo Dev bootcamp. It is 50-100x the price of a good Udemy Full Stack bootcamp. However if you buy a Udemy course you need a lot more discipline and endurance to pull through, so that’s one point for bootcamps like Mimo Dev. That said, this is still the best app I know for mobile users to familiarize themselves with coding and also peek into some advanced topics. If you are a beginner, check it out, but subscribe ONLY if you are willing to go on with the exercises daily, for months. I guess I just should have checked better before I subscribed. Maybe you should, too.

Adott, esetleg "lassabban megérthető" koncepciókat nagyon jól, faék egyszerűséggel el tud magyarázni, úgy, hogy az érthető legyen. Tanulás mellé kikapcsolódásnak, kiegészítésnek tökéletes. Ha odafigyel az ember, az ingyenes verzióban is nehéz elfogyasztani az életeket.

Perfect study app: you can easily learn coding since this app has been made to help everybody who is willing to learn. If you use the free-version, there are adds in it, but not disturbing and aggressive. I think this concept should be the future not just for IT but for many other subjects. You are just simply motivated to learn, you are continupusly challenged whether you understand the topic or not. I love it! Thanks for the devopers! What could be a great added value in this app is to include penetration testing and excel macro study programs. By including pen-test, you could approach professionals who want to go to direction of the cybersecurity, by inlcuding excel macros, VBA or Power BI you could approach the users from finance. By this you could have more users. It is a nieche. So many users from finance world would like to improve their skills and knowledge, but no concepts like this is available in the app world. Consider this. :)

I just started to use this app 2 days ago. I downloaded other app for learning how to code, but so far this one is the best! Really easy to understand! The only downside is that this app is the most expensive and I’m poor.

Similarly to Duolingo, you may learn coding investing a few minutes to it each day. Fantastic

Great app, makes learning fun. Unfortunately has some flows. For example when identical answers from a multiple choice task only accepts one solution. That is frustrating. They tend to be fixed by time, but when you are waiting to update the app, it is demotivating.

It makes coding fun, the same way Duolingo makes language learning fun. 😁 I recommend it to everyone!
